There is a lot of shit you aren't going to want to do or think is necessary in the real world that you will have to do so stop being a little bitch and get on with it.

τι θα πουν οι kαθηγητές σου εάν μάθουν ότι μπαίνεις στο Yea Forums;

It's to help you with problem solving in the future, even if you'll never use it in the real world.

I highly doubt he'll ever use that.

to pass high school. then you can probably forget it like everyone else

Yeah you’re a retard to think he’s ever gonna need that lmao

Yes both the common core process and the 'your work is more valuable than the answer itself' bullshit.

But you're literally on a computer. Calculator the fuck out of it or cheat.

>inb4 but calculator is cheating.
No its not because the day we don't have access to calculators or computers is the day this kind of math is worthless and will never needed to be done again.

Math builds logic skills. Advanced math builds better logic and critical thinking skills. It's not hard to understand. Do yourself a favor and try to learn it. It will help you be a better all around person in the future.

There's no reason in the world why you should study that. Instead, concentrate on doing the minimum amount of work necessary to get by. That will be more valuable in your future prestigious, high-paying career.

so your brain wouldn't rot

M8, dis shit's easy

Dunno, it's all Greek to me...

to build your critical thinking skills & get used to working with numbers

Exactly maths are useless in todays world. Most High paying jobs don't require you to use this kind of maths anyway. Use a calculator and get over it, it's just to format you into the drone they want so you wont get in the way of the rich

because teacher said so

>maths are useless in todays world
hoo boy

Shhh don't tell them

As expected from you greek faggots.

it's another means of expression, go ahead gimp yourself. furthermore if you see yourself in a position to never use it, your frame of reference may be too small to actually do anything useful, important or meaningful with your life

To find solutions to higher order differential equations. Which model every day life phenomenon, like an object oscillating on a water surface.

Bro ur fucking kidding me, that's what you do in HS????
I have to learn derivatives and integrals

Math doesnt create common sense. That's what the world is lacking.

Well OP, I'll give you a tip. When you finally finish school and get out into the real world and have a job interview. Put it on your resume for any and all jobs. When the interviewer asks why, tell them that your school system assured you it would come in handy some day. Make sure to inquire several times about it and when you will be using it on the job. When they say you don't need it, complain.
I always get a good chuckle out of confusing potential employers when they ask me a question and I, in the most sincere way possible, ask what my four choices are and then proceed to complain when they ask what I'm talking about. "But sir, I was assured throughout high school that I would receive four answer choices to select from. Are you telling me that school was a bunch of bullshit?"

it makes you PRACTICE logical progression toward SOLVING problems
>the world is there for you to take it user

that happens

what may not be readily apparent to you is the context. ask those teaching you what does this problem or formulation practically imply, what can i solve with this or how can i use this...
>teaching you to use an adjustable but never having seen a nut
