Adding vinegar is weird and not an asian thing. Whatever the fuck that user said. I've never heard of adding vinegar. Eitherway, better you ask /ck/ after looking up that chart I mentioned if you still want to know. They'd have you covered. Generally it's always good to add fresh green onion. Adding soy sauce is good. If you want a spice kick, you can add a tinge of wasabi. You can get roasted and salted seaweed for cheap and add those. Typically you can add an egg while you cook it on the stove, but since it wouldn't cook in the cup, you can just make eggs (boiled, fried, any way) and add that to your ramen. You can add assorted veggies as well, like enoki mushrooms or bean sprouts. Better to ask /ck/ in the end. I'm just an asianfag that's a fake asianfag because I live in america.

Can confirm that most of them are alive and well. Some of the fags listed were only around for a week or something, so can't confirm those. But a solid 3/4s are alive and well.
Depends on how you want to color. Painting and rendering vs cel shading and simple shading. Just depends on what you want to go for. R0AD likes to hoard resources/tutorials and she's good at coloring and shading. I suggest asking her when you have the chance. From me, I'd say work on making your forms more defined before you color. If I were to color that picture you just posted, I wouldn't know how to color/what is some of the parts of that sketch. Get your flats down, and make sure everything translates properly. Get your basic shading down. Then experiment/practice from there. There are other ways people do it too. Playing with just monochrome colors will help you choose palettes better based on their values and saturation.

do more quick gesture studies. dont focus on the details. learn anatomy and proportions first off. Gesture studies are where you'll get some major improvement. the more you draw your character, the easier he will get to draw as well. study and follow more pixel tutorials more often. study and git gud with us.

If you're not already, I suggest looking into aseprite. It's a cheap program built for pixel art. Apart from that, it depends on how you do your art currently. Are you drawing over sketches with pixels or doing things straight from pixel art? And for shading, just blocking out highlights and shadows before going into it can help things move along faster too.

i am currently bouncing between aseprite and paint.net. sometimes i use sketches orother drawings for ideas on poses but mostly i try to keep things 100% original. i was trapped in a rut where i was scared to work from scratch without tracing sfm models i posed or some shit as a crutch so im trying to avoid it as much as possible

gesture studys are where you draw a specific pose or gesture. quick ones are typically where you take 30-60 seconds to draw a gesture. youre goal being to complete said pose or gesture (full body, expression, body part, waist and up, etc) within that time frame. this helps you draw faster, not stress over the details, draw more fluidly and less stiff, and allows your poses to become more natural as a whole.
Google will be your friend. Google gesture studies. You need to work on your anatomy and proportions. You have a great, solid foot in the door already. You just need to refine it. I don't specialize in pixel art (yet), so I can't say for certain where you could improve there. I'd be better giving you concrit if you drew something outside of the pixel medium... I'm also tired, sorry Yea Forumsro.
Plus one for Aseprite. Been the best software I've used for pixel art.

Oh I don't mean like tracing other images, the best way to do pixel art is to start with doing a sketch drawing (made even easier if you have stronger lineart for what you plan to outline) then draw the pixel line art over that. What the other user said about studying anatomy will allow you to draw better sketches and in turn, better pixel art.
