If a thread isn't bumped by the time it hits the end of page 10 it's automatically deleted. A thread can't get bumped anymore after it reaches the post limit.

For example, this thread is on page 9 before I posted this post. If I didn't bump just now it would be deleted and OP would get upset for nothing.
