I don't "get" philosophy. Is stuff like Kant and Nietzsche supposed to make sense? I just don't see how anyone gets anything out of philosophy, it makes no sense to me. I would even go so far as to say that nobody really understands philosophy and that people who say they understand it are just pretending.

I started philosophising when I was 14 naturally because the grand questions really peaked my curiosity. What is the meaning of life, what is suffering etc.. If it doesn't appeal to you then why bother? It's something that you naturally adopt if you ever find yourself unlucky enough to be gripped by the questions such as why do I exist and what should I spend my life doing. Do shit that interests you man.
