Lol thanks user, I can always count on you.
Should I KYS too?
The index at the back of a history book.
google chrome incognito tab
There isn't one. They all collect your data and sell it to make themselves ca$h
all of them?
Tor?
Its basically the business model for developing a free software.
I would prefer to pay for it and have privacy, but that isn't an option
I already pay for a VPN as if there are no paid browsers?
Brave browser and duckduckgo for search engine
Are you an retard?
The only true "browser privacy" you gonna get is not using a browser.
Tor maybe, but you gotta keep in mind you have a lot to learn and you will enter some stuid fucks watchlist by defaulting of every other mainstream browser.
Tor browser
But save your time and effort, it’s practically impossible to avoid google, trying is pointless anyway
You talk about browser, but have probably an android with gapps on it. The data collection on your phone is probably much worse...
I was serious. I never once had any google tracking from my windows phone to my PC (which used chrome).
i think tor or duck duck go
This. Fuck the PC side of it, Google and Apple know more about you from your Facebook app than anyone ever should.
Just accept it's too late and don't do anything stupid on a network. Even Tor is a joke, with govt nodes now more popular than private ones.
Nope, that’s just bullshit
Mozilla is an org, meaning they have to publish their income and their costs, and they don’t sell private data. (Or otherwise this would be one of the biggest tax fraud in the USA, and when it’s about taxes the feds act quickly and harsh)
So stop spouting bullshit. Firefox collect data for later analysis, which if you are a developer you know is essential for bigger projects, as reproducing bugs is quite hard, and without a detailed analysis of the target system it might even be impossible
Stop bumping this shit.
I will try to explain this as fucking retardedly as possible since the vast majority of you all seem to know shit;
There is NO privacy on the internet. Even if you manage to configure a browser, even if you relay efficiently your ports, even if you install a whole OS designed for it and even if you become your own private ISP sooner or later this will get unwanted attention.
I had seen everything and in the end either you comply with "International Internet Safety/Security" or you are thrown to jail for whatever bullshit reason.
The only reason you should be worried and the only reason from which you should look for privacy is;
>Cheese pizza
>Drugs
>Weapons
>Terrorism
>Living in a totallitarian shithole
If you don't consume or use any of these, you don't need privacy that much.
>Paying for a VPN
Topkek, a vpn has only a single purpose, to access data that’s region specific (I.e. Netflix)
VPNs are beizet secure nor anonymous, basically you have to fully trust one company. Save your money and use tor, tor still isn’t secure (if the page doesn’t use ssl tor wont get you any security) but at least it’s anonymous
Knows WTF is up.
>Living in a totallitarian shithole
But thats what the USA is becoming
>becoming
So you can break tor? Just curious, why haven’t you already got your Turing award for this?
If you are not retarded tor is anonymous, provable, truly anonymous. The only security flaw is when the in and the out nodes are controlled by the same party, which Requires a very high share of all nodes beeing owned by one party, so except for the NSA, the chinese government or Russia, no institution would have the free money to get this
Well i'm using Mozilla firefox with some addons, and wit duck duck go as my main search engine. There is no such thing as a 100% privacy on the internet.
Fuck off
>HURR DURR let's give companies all of our information for no reason without being compensated!
I'm not a Communist or a left wing person at all, but the internet needs some protection
For years I've been trying to be as anonymous as possible on the internet but at some point I just gave up. When I was high and contemplating all of this I installed google chrome for the lulz, but never used it
We're fucked either way, nothing you can do about it, big brother wins
>Tor is anonymous
>Unless it stops being anonymous
Are you stupid or had some kind of accident?
If there is a security flaw it's by default not anonymous.
I'm guessing you searched for that image using Google.
At which point did I stated that it was alright or that privacy wasn't neccesary?
Leaking information on corruption, letting the world know there is still slavery and other inhumane bullshit and showing off the inhuman face of humanity are leggit reasons to be anonymous.
But then you get stupid fucks like Assange or Wallace that think themselves worth a shit.
In the end everybody just want to sell some shit without facing dire consequences. This is why many developers gave up on the anonymous thing.
>Brave browser and duckduckgo for search engine
duckduckgo fingerprints its users. startpage does not, use startpage
Use bing and fucking yahoo nigger
Duck Duck go. Im using right now on my mobile
Yeah the correct formulation is, in general is safe, but it has a probabilistic flaw.
But if you think about it, it’s not even a flaw, because it is only possible for one party to exploit it as it requires a majority of nodes.
Also you can scale up the hop count to increase your security.
So in general it can’t be broken, there are probabilistic methods, but none guarantees you shit. Even the NSA doesn’t have enough money to get majority of nodes, so while the probably have enough to get a 10-20% chance of correlating for any connection, there is no guarantee to get the one you want to listen too. Even the nsa can see at most 20% of all tor traffic at a time
Also if the NSA is after you, using the internet is the last of your problems
It already is
>Also if the NSA is after you, using the internet is the last of your problems
That's one of the main points am trying to make.
Privacy means shit when you don't really need it.
Being naive enough to think duckduckgo and similar search engines a long with vpns aren't owned or at the least datamined by various governments and corporations. LUL LUL LUL LUL
Use duckduckgo
That’s a statement that can only come of someone who never experienced to be unfree.
Idiot kys ty
Well but you have privacy against everyone except the NSA
Or are you arguing that sharing your data with everyone is literally not worse than sharing your data only with the NSA?
Ffffuuuuck, well i didn't know that, thanks dude
This. Pretty much anything to mitigate private and corporate snooping & shilling is a plus, even if there is nothing to be done to evade government authorities, or you don't care because none of the crime watchlist stuff applies to you and you'll be dead before the Orwellian nightmare begins in earnest.
Samefag here, let me give you an example, if my employer could get access to my Yea Forums posts I would be fucked, even though it’s nothing illegal, and the NSA doesn’t care
Theres a big difference between sharing your data with everyone, or with only law enforcement
I actually don't use my phone at all. Only basic calls and texts.
Also don't have any social media what so ever and never have.
It's actually about not liking what Google is doing politically and would like to detach from GOOGLE specifically.
DuckDuckGo
You are doing it wrong.
If you feel any political influence over this bullshit you should incentivize normies to stop selling their bullshit to social media and for us to stop using 80% of all imageboards since they are monitored by google.
Who do you think owns Catpcha/GoldPass?
If you screw their finances, Google crumbles on it's own weight like all monster bussiness. The thing is, what will rise after it is a mystery.
Most people in journalism hate Google & Facefuck for reasons elaborated in this long hearing, which is worth a watch.
You don't like Google? Google likes you, and is watching you now
duckduckgo
Doesn't matter, if you've EVER visited a website with a "share to facebook" button, or anybody you know has ever posted a picture to facebook with you in it, then facebook has a profile on you.
