Too lazy to post pictures, but...
I REALLY hope you copy-paste the following list and give it a try. The reason I got a Vitamin D deficiency at a young age was
because I've spent most of my childhood locked inside mainly watching movies. I didn't really care what I was watching at the
time because I was doing it to pass the time. I've seen many many movies--ranging from mainstream US trash, to something
like the alternative neo-speed punk Hungarian genre. You get the drill.
The following list is just a bunch of movies that came out of the top of my head, because out of the dozens of thousands I have
watched... these were good enough to immediately pop out when prompted this thread's question. Bear in mind that I do not
pick movies based on anything other than the enjoyment I got from them, and I can tell you that my bar is quite high after all
the movies I have watched in my life.
Anyways, just copy-paste them in a Notepad file and watch them all; in no particular order:
-The skin I live in
-STALKER
-The Lobster
-In Bruges
-Big Bad Wolves
Enjoy.

Nightcrawler.and if youre into tv shows.watch Skins first 2 seasons.
I would strongly reccomend Rush Hour 2, it is one of the best films made to this date, if you like 2 then go ahead and watch 1 if you like 1 then maybe... maybe try Rush Hour 3 but it honeslty does not live up to the hype.
1. Fire in the Sky (1993)
2. Ghostbusters (2016)
3. Men in Black: International (2019)
4. Ghost Rider (2007)
5. Fantastic Four (2015)
6. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008)
Home Alone 2
Overboard staring Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, one of the finest films made and a better film could not be made becuase of today's P.C culture police

thats a good movie but its climax sucked dick, I would reccomend watching it though the villian before he suits up was a lot of fun
Queen of the Damned was good.
Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence is really good.
I am Legend is the movie with Will Smith.
donnie darko, its one of those trippy films you gotta rewatch over and over
also watchmen
Mandy
Black Dynamite is a great film

both those movies are for edgy preteens who haven’t gotten out of their “did god put us here just to suffer” phase

-The Troll Hunter
-Scott Pilgrim vs. The World
-Interstellar

Ikr.Watchmen and donnie darko are semi good movies but wouldn't watch them no more then 2 times. They are the type of movies that you watch again after a long time of not watching it just cause someone mentioned or saw it posted somewhere.
Tokyo gore police
His other movies are almost all great
The Thing /older version/
jin roh the wolf brigade
The Nolan trilogy is good but too overated. The pacing is awful. The last one could have been the best.If only a certain someone didn't fucking die.I hate when we can have master pieces of movies but don't happen because of some BS.
Gangs of New York
Overated director.
Blood in blood out
>pick related
Big Lebowski
Network 1976
To Kill a Mockingbird
Pacing is awful and has a confusing plot.Only redemming part is the ending scene other then that. That movie is complely trash and waste of almost 3 hours.
v for vendetta
Click. Adam Sandler deserved an Oscar for it.
Titanic.
first half is pretty boring but it gets really cool near the end.
Are you familiar with the Casting Couch series produced by Harvey Weinstein?
I watched it high so I don’t know if that had something to do with it
bon dog saints
Thats the stupidest movie ever made.
Underrated movie.
>Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
faggy 20 yr-old stoner-tier
>Reservoir Dogs
ok
>Interstellar
ok
>The Shawshank Redemption
definitely
>Donnie Darko
lmao oh nonononono....easily on of the gayest movies I have ever seen
>Scott Pilgrim vs. The World
not bad
>1408
Never seen it. Trailer looks alright.
i would recommend Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood
Snowpiercer.Normal movie.
donnie darko is the gayest movie ever made
Scott vs world and Donnie Darko are in the same level.Scott vs world ,I can see why is appealing to some people thought it just didn't keep me entertain.
Roadhouse
Caddyshack 2
>one of those trippy films you gotta rewatch over and over
you're exactly the kind of idiot that movie was made for
The first two iron man movies were wicked good number three took a turn for the worse though
Fire in the sky is the only good movie here. all these others are shit
Fuck off
Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? is great
it's a long sit, but the cinematography is kino
Godfather pt 1 & 2
Watchmen
The departed
Fight club
Blue
Friday
What's a good movie then user?
You mean Blade Runner, if so yes
"I'll love ya 'til the end of time" :'(
everything by stanley kubrick
2001 by Kubrick with the additional 40-some odd hours of commentary by bill cooper in mystery babylon. Blows the lid off the whole thing.
no im talking about the book
If you want a film that's super fucking weird and like nothing you've ever seen, I'd say The Holy Mountain, definitely not for everyone but I love it
donkey punch
can confirm that this movie is really fucking weird
"If..." is also a good film, I saw somewhere a list of Kubricks favorite films and this one would make sense since they both share similar themes and leading actors
Total Recall is a brilliant film
Pans Labyrinth
Dredd
The wrestler
The Predator and Rain man
All his movies are basically bland.Theres no deepth to them except for Full metal jacket and The shining
and this movie.Hes movies just lack something.Im kind of interest on watching Lolita. It seems like an interesting movie.
Be sure to watch Judge Dredd (1995) not the shitting new one
Godfather another overrated piece of trash.Part 1 its ok.The second one its just all over the place and haven't even watched the third one.
Killer Bean forever
Has anyone said Robocop yet? if not watch Robocop its fucking great
Also this list of Kubrick's favorite, which may or may not be truthful, had "I Vitelloni" on it too which is about these 30 something bums who dont have jobs and really dont much, it's really good. Also if you like Kubrick I'd recommend looking into Fredrico Fellini, he's one of the greats
haha lies
I fell asleep during the first one would not recommend
Holy shit I was gunna say this, absolute classic very early Malcom McDowell (it actually got McDowell the job after Kubrick saw it)
A bit "out there" at times but worth the watch.
I AMM THE LAWAWAW
>803170382
oh thats a good one Watch the Matrix while your at it they are done by the same guy
Red Dragon is better then silence of the lambs.Prove me wrong
Pro tip:you can't
I've yet to see Lolita but idk man I like them and I'd also argue they have depth like Dr. Strangelove explores, comically, the threat of nuclear inhalation or Eyes Wide Shut explores the idea of the elite class having ritualistic paid sex
you sir have the same tastes in movies i do
This. So this.
May i add:
Dark City
The big Lebowski
Why do boomers think throwing insults like fastballs does anything besides make them look like an asshole?
In my excuse.I haven't seen all of them.I have watch Eyes Wide Shut and it was just like ok.It just feels like im watching a bunch of events happen with no real meaning.Thats the feeling i get in most of his movies except for the shining and FMJ,I did felt that feeling in A clockwork Orange. Its like watching a modern Art is made for certain people. And something else.I can almost feel his OCD in his movies.
Ok fair enough but idk I typically like them but I guess like in Barry Lyndon I felt that it was a bunch of events in this kinda douchy dudes lifes and it doesnt really lead anywhere but like maybe that's the point but yeah didnt he do like 100 takes for a lot of scenes? That's insane
Silence of the lambs is a shit movie most movies are better than it
Yeah.It was in the shining with the actres.Push her to her limits and you can tell in the behind the scenes that shes exhausted. In that movie you can truly feel his OCD.
Yeah, not enough jump scares, cgi or blatant plot devices. It's boring and hard to follow and the cast is all uggos.
if you want more Kubrick:
>2001: A Space Odyssey
>The Shining
>Full Metal Jacket
>Eyes Wide Shut
can personally vouch for FMJ as an amazing movie
Full Metal Jacket by Stanley Kubrik
Yeah.RedDragon feels like an improve version of that movie.More interesting villain, protagonis and plot and everything just builds up nicely althought that blonde hair doesn't fit pic related.
-There Will Be Blood
-Die Hard
-The Other Guys
-Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story
-American Beauty
-Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, and The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
-Rio Bravo
-High Plains Drifter
-Four Rooms
-Inglorious Basterds
-Pulp Fiction
-Sicario
-12 Angry Men
-Brawl in Cell Block 99 (I know I'm losing some of you with this one, but I thought Vince Vaughn was his best in this one and it's a pretty good movie)
I might remember a few more in a few minutes. these were just ones i didn't see scrolling through.
Debbie Does Dallas...the original. It's a quirky romantic comedy with a suspenseful twist. Should have been academy award nominated...got robbed.
Memento, is good if you haven't seen it.
The Lobster, seconded.
Fail Safe (1964), is good to pair with Dr. Strangelove.
Casablanca is a classic for a reason. Made in 1942 when it didn't look like we were going to win the war.
Does anyone else feel dumb not seeing all the hidden symbols/messages in Kubrick's movies? I remember spending more than a week reading on explanations about various things/scenes in the movie Eyes Wide Shut. It's like you have to watch it at least 4 times to start getting a feeling on the messages the master was trying to convey.
The 4th kind.
28 days later.
Fire in the sky.
Signs.
The descent.
Wrecked (2009)
check out Bronson
a lot of parallels (likely intentional) with a clockwork orange
it's one of my favorite movies I've seen in awhile, very entertaining and violent
That's the joke...
lol, the 4th kind is a dead fish of a movie.
IDK if its been mentioned but Waking Life is amazing
Kids or A Serbian Film. Solid wholesome movies. You’ll enjoy user
I fell asleep in the theater watching 4th kind, some niggers in the row back got mad since they were chimping out with fear.
>The 4th kind
>Signs.
They're both bad movird but they really creeped me out and I liked them.
I'm too much of a pussy faggot to dare to watch the rest you mentioned...
Have you seen Skinwalkwer Ranch, Unaware, Absence, and/or The Uninvited?
If you watch Donnie darko without knowing what you’re getting into, it’s a very fascinating movie - and watching it a couple more times is interesting enough to see if you can pick up on things you hadn’t noticed the first time
Watching it too many times however, you start to see it’s failings that weren’t so obvious before
But hey, those first couple of viewings were pretty enjoyable
Maybe you like McDowell's films. Try "If...." next. Yes, that's the title - the periods are part of it.
The room is only good with rifftrax
>A Serbian Film
I admit it, not my proudest faps.
Full Metal Jacket, Platoon, really anything by my nigga Stanley, the Blade Runner movies, Moonlight, Beasts of No Nation, Hateful Eight
>The Lobster
Wretched.
Some interesting ones that are a little off the beaten path:
Jamie Marks Is Dead
Coherence
A Field In England
Goodbye Uncle Tom is another extremely wholesome film
2nd this Nicolas Winding Refn is the shit
Nah the film just sucks the plot is about as intersting as unseasoned chicken cooked in an oven. It's one of those films people watch and brag about to seem smart but it's really just a shitty Hollywood horror. A good boring horror film is Kwaidan, so suck my dick
