The marines won’t take me. Im thinking about reapplying to the army or try the marines again but is it worth it...

go to a bad neighborhood, fight and kill people that are trying to rob you. Voila, your dreams just came true.

Yeah...
Probably psychological.

You shouldn't want to kill anyone.
This isn't call of duty.
And this isn't the movies.

After you serve your time and do your deeds, you will see things differently.
But at that point, it's too late.
The damage is done.
And it will forever be a part of your "everlasting" consciousness.

Hell isn't a place.
It's a mindset.
A collection of memories in witch you cant escape.
Everlasting regret and pain.
And constant severe anxiety.

It's the quiet moments that are the most tense.
Your mind gets tricked into reliving those situations.
It's not just the horrible memories.
It's the feelings that come with them.

The feelings are inescapable.
Horrifying and confusing.

Your thoughts and memories are poison to your peace of mind.
You try to escape them and bury them deep down.
But these feelings bring them to life.
You can vividly feel it in your chest.

I have to numb my mind 24/7.
I cant sit alone with my thoughts.
I can only imagine what kind of hell I face in the afterlife.

I'd rather burn than be alone with my memories...

> I’m an expert shot.
Shooting an animal 100 yards away doesnt make you an expert shot. Try hitting a man sized target 400m away while youre absolutely chinstrapped after running across an open field woth 40kg of kit.
> I’ve been hunting since I was 5.
Humans tend to shoot back. Kinda changes things somewhat.
> I got no problem killing.
Rabbits and hogs arent humans. Until youve killed a person you have no idea if you have a problem with it. Hence why people are saying you sound like a psycho edgelord.
> I’m in great shape and have been training for a career in the military since I was 10.
What do you mean by 'great shape', cus you sound like a fat autist.
> I’ve killed a deer with my old mans m16 so I can use a variety of weapons.
Literally only about 5% of an infantrymans role is knowledge and operation of weapons. Skills, drills, fieldcraft and the like are massively more important.
> And I feel like I’d be the only one mentally prepared to get the job done
Because youve shot a few bucks? Right. You do realise that militaries want reasonable people who they can train to kill if needed instead of psychotic ramblers who will be a liability to everyone if ever given a loaded weapon?

33 year marine vet here. Definitely psychological.

Holy fucking kek.
If he does end of joining they'll put his ass in the armory, where then he can see all the weapons.
