Yes it does. You should be able to turn on airplane mode record the video then clear the cache in snapchat and that should take care of the notification. At least it worked last time I tried

No I mean by YOU using the third party app, you have now created a copy that is now in a server in that company's control. You get sent a copy of it. That company can and will do whatever they want with their copy.

Not sure if it still works but I've used this method before

>Go into airplane mode
>open snap and screenshot
>while still in airplane mode, go to settings and sign out of snapchat.
>turn data/wifi back on
>log back Into snapchat
>snap should still be there.

I use Mobizen but it leaves a big ass logo somewhere (you get to place it) on the screen like in pic related

Pretty simple, PAY for it, remove watermarks. Start the app, hit record, it starts counting down, open snap and click through. When done, pull down notification and hit stop.
ONLY shit thing, and it's snap/Google, you can't record audio. Ie if you get a vid, you're finding a VERY quite room to record in.

I use AZ screen recorder on my android. Doesn't notify anyone for shit or I would have some pissed off mother fuckers. I get lazy and turn it off after replying to several people, so it'll record 10 snaps before I shut it off and go screenshot the recording in my gallery.

Do you happen to have another phone with a camera? You can always open the snap and take a photo of your screen. It's a bit ghetto but it gets the job done.

When I use AZ I get the remote view icon on my notification bar and that freaks me out

But, LG phones have a special screenshot button that doesnt notify anyone. Its in the bottom left corner next to the back button
So far, the LG G3 thru 6 has it. Ill never get a different phone, so long as LG keeps coming out with their G series phones.
If I get a pic, i use the LG screenshot. If its a video. I use AZ. Its perfect

If you hit the still picture button it does, but you can hit record and click through all their snaps and it won't notify them

No dummy, apparently Snapchat can indeed detect it based on my googling hence my question. Once your phone knows you're remote viewing it can also tell Snapchat about it.

It may be able to detect your remote viewing app in on, AS IT'S AN APP. But that's it.
Snapchat does NOT know what software you're running on your pc or if you're recording.

It's scary cuz AZ recorder puts the same remote view icon on my notification bar as AirDroid. Tested it with a friend tho and all they got was an eyeball icon from me and not the double arrows. Success. Thanks friends

I use V Recorder on android. I load up the snaps I wish to record, go into airplane mode, and record while the snaps play. Then, I end the recording, close snapchat. Delete snapchat, clear cache and ram, and make sure the app's info is off my phone. Then restart the phone, and turn off airplane mode. Redownload the app and log back in. Voila. This is my complicated but foolproof method. For snapchat to patch this out would be a gross violation of privacy laws and consent on our devices. Plus it's such a cumbersome method that isn't worth the trouble. Good luck with those precious snaps lads.
