Terraria? Good game no complaints. If I didn't spend so much time in Minecraft I'd make it my primary one. Slime Rancher is a pretty relaxing experience. Cute stuff, managing a farm. It's a game that you forget time and have fun seeing cute stuff, feels rewarding to make money or gather items to reach new areas and make stuff. The game rewards exploration too.

no i dont. i specifically only added the ability for the player to craft edge weapons past rank 1. i never got all my skills to 100, not even weaponsmithing. in fact im not sure if i got any to 100, i just popped the game open to look at what i was at, but i dont think i saw any 100s
although i did also later add special armor that felt, in my opinion, a semi-fair higher tier, but we're past the point of anything in the game being a challenge at that point, i could solo the spiderbots and all that junk.
there's no rush or anything, but if you do, i just hope you enjoy the videos :)

edge is... i think its either the highest, or there's a special npc-only tier above that
but you can get edge 3 from vendors in special parts of the game (the robot city i dont know the name, with that special vendor guy who sells everything), but edge 1 is the max a player can craft. which felt dumb to me.
looked it up. meitou is the special one, edge 3 is just arbitrarily impossible. i modded meitou in (check screenshot, i only have edge 3, because im pretty sure i made it so you need weaponsmithing 90 for it) and adding in edge 3 is just a matter of enabling it, its not a new tier so you just need to have high enough skill and maybe get lucky

as i understand it, no, they're -used- uniquely, in that i think you can only find them on special ncps in the snowy area in the way way north part of the map, but theyre just normal items with the meitou affix which boosts their stats pretty hard

no, its literally impossible. the max unmodded you can make is edge 1, there's a 'critical smithing' mechanic in the game that'll up you to the next rank, edge 2, but since you cant actually unlock the ability to smith edge 2 normally, you can never make an edge 3
im pretty confident about this once, since ive looked into the modding tools. although at the end of the day it doesnt really matter, i was already capable of beating any enemy even without edge 3 weapons, i was just tired of the tedium of fighting large groups alone (lots of running back and forthing, sneaking in one attack, running away, timing things perfectly, knowing what animation is a block and what isnt, lots and lots of pause scumming) so i wanted to smooth that out, but then of course i got bored anyway.
oh well.
actually thinking back, the one enemy that gave me trouble were those giraffe-like things in the south west of the map that must have like 150 athletics or something, i could never, ever outrun them.
also there's the boss enemies i guess, but its not beating them is worth anything other than the clout
i dunno why im going on and on, its a good game, i played it stupidly but i had fun.

You're focused on the fact that people can try and express positive change you leave on them with words, which aren't important.
Seeing an effort I make to impact my surroundings pay off is, to me, similar to being expressed gratitude by a person.
I'm saying that on the one hand, completely giving up on ressource usage, effectively erasing the planet of humanity as a species is not perfect, because every form of life, just like us, needs ressources to live, and pretending like that is evil in itself is inaccurate.
And on the other hand, "let's all go back to a cave" may be a good solution, if everyone listened to my command, but people don't.
So reducing the extend to which human civilisation locks ressources out of their natural re-cycles is a collaborative effort that will take many small and tedious steps of negotiation, and not something that can be achieved as easily as pretending human society didn't exist.
