Greatest mistake was holding the Wehrmacht from destroying the Brits at Dunkirk. Then he ordered the Luftwaffe to bomb London and stop bombing RAF bases just as he was destroying them. Those 2 mistakes allowed the Brits to carry on when they should have been crushed out of the war by spring 1941
