Immigration and allowing women to work diluted the work force pushing wages down as competition for work increased there was no reason for employers to up wages only when there is a lack of employees will employers seek to raise wages however those selling products will follow inflation a roughly 3% raise yearly depreciating all cash by 3% a year so the 15 and hour you made 5 years ago is now worth 15% less meaning you've lost 2.25 without doing anything but your job welcome to adult life

People are lazy. You can easily raise a family on a single income. There's people retired in their 30s. They just don't spend their money on stupid shit.
Everyone I talk to when they have a problem wants to call someone else to fix it. Get ripped off by a plumber for 200 dollar house call for something you can fix in a few minutes by watching a youtube video.
The fruits of labor is making people lazier. My parents always said they wanted me to get an education so I wouldn't have to do hard labor, but really everyone needs to experience hard labor once in awhile.
People go to the beach and drown because they were too lazy to learn how to swim.

I'm going to have to agree. In fact, it's the hard work and struggle that is rewarding and upon which men and women commune around. Effectively, it's how we formed communities and culture. Go find a small town to live in and get a job at the gas station. People will recognize you as an individual and a contributor and you will will thrive-- even if it's considered a humble meager existence on a small scale. Just know that it's far more rewarding than BILLIONS out there chasing some invented dream. I left a $100k/year job to live in a small town and start a small food business and my life is incredible. Just learn to say "Thank you" "Hi, how are you?" and "I appreciate it." and give people a sincere look and a good world can be yours. The best part-- it won't even be fucking faking it.
