Thinking about visiting Denmark next year (most likely Copenhagen)
What would you recommend? I really like eating and drinking. But I'm open for all suggestions.
For what it's worth, I'm a straight 24 year old male from Burgerland

my flight and hotel in Berlin are already booked. I'm definitely doing that in September. Next year I'm thinking about doing a few days in Berlin and a few days in Copenhagen.

Copenhagen isn't much a "party city" to me.
Denmark is small, and life is slower more "human friendly". What I mean by that, is when I come visit, I usually chill - go out with friends play/drink in a park, sea side, Christinia, rent a boat, restaurant, etc.
The little mermaid is shit, you'll be disappointed, you could do a boat tour - touristic but OK.
Among the place/thing I like and you didn't cite - from the top of my head: Black Swan, Fermentoren, Warpigs in Kodbyen, Torvehallerne, Nyhavn to walk around/check shops.Nice museum Louisiana far up DK. The new Opera. Rent a bike and have fun.
Feel free to check gourmet restaurant (Noma, Geranium to book in advance), as they don't quite have a culture of food despite being an old country...

It does seem like a city suitable for partying though, since there are many bars and clubs and they don't have to close early.

Kodbyen can be indeed cool for that, so could be Folkehuset Absalon - nearby social event organised in a churh.
I'm from a bigger European capital, that might be why I feel this way.

Dane here. Copenhagen is definitely a party city. Danes absolutely LOVE to drink and party. You probably just went to the wrong places.
OP go to some of the informal bars in the city center. Danes open up a lot when they start drinking.
