How to do I get my guniea pig to stop being a fucking neet? All it does is sit there whenever shes outside, it doesnt even eat.
She'll occasionally move her head, but she's been in the exact same spot for like half an hour. I'm kinda worried something's legitimately wrong with her, I know they're usually nocturnal, but shes incredibly active when the cage is inside, or she just runs into her box and never comes out, like I should probly be posting this on /r9k/ at this point
Ye, I got her when I moved out and I wasn't able to afford a second one, so I just tried to play with her as much as possible when she was growing up. Is it too late to get a second pig?

Not at all, they dont necessarily have to be raised together, just may take a bit to get used to one another. Im not knowledgeable enough to know whether a neutered male or female would be a better recommendation. My gut says a neutered male wouldnt bully her too much but that's just a guess.

To clarify also, they can rarely live happy lives alone, but basically require constant enrichment and massive enclosures. Like human infant levels of constant affection but it never gets better as they age lol.

I feel like thatd cost one hell of a pretty penny, I might just cuck my pig and get another female, I have some of the fencing I can use to seperate the cage until they get used to each other a bit, and I do have enough cash to get another
I mean hey I'll be on campus throughout the fall, I guess she could definitely use a friend
Pls stp no spaces I got u anons, hopefully it goes well Yea I'll probably see if I can get one a few months old so I dont have to worry too much about fighting hopefully, but it all depends on how long they take to get used to each other

Taking them outside in an open area is generally a bad idea for them. Not unhealthy they just get stressed out about it. Remember they are prey to birds and shit so like most small pets like them they don't try to move in order to not be seen

No more than half a year, from a Petco in frederick before I moved again
And ye you dont gotta worry lol, I always leave cover for her somewhere, they're the definition of prey
I'll brb, hopefully thread doesnt 404 while I'm out, but peace for now Yea Forumsrahs
