Yeah, I think it's the nature of improving at anything, really. Like, I don't consider myself great, but I've studied art for a long time. I think the same goes for literally any sort of skill though- painting, drawing, sports, etc. The more you learn, the harder it is to be impressed. Frustrating as that might be though, it forces your to constantly strive to better your craft. The 'highs' you get from doing something like making a nice drawing might be harder to come by with time, but maybe that makes it all the sweeter? I dunno.
