My lungs have been filling up with white liquid for the last 2 weeks.. Feels like i'm drowning. Doctors don't know what i've got. Antibiotics aren't working. Liquid congeals into bronchial casts that are huge and awkward to cough up

Anyone here know what i've got? Docs are useless here, but I have nowhere else to go for medical treatment

>pic related, bronchial cast

>inb4 white shit is cum

(but you have to actually do them)

If you're experiencing congestion in your nose or sinuses, a saline nasal rinse might be worth trying. It's unpleasant the first few times, but once you get used to it, the results usually feel great. I doubt it will fix a lung infection, but it might keep some of the crud out of your sinuses.

looks like worms.

doesn't look like worms.

>Doctors don't know what i've got.
Go to different doctors. You've obviously got the ones who think a medical practice just involves writing prescriptions for opiates.
>mfw people argue for free health care and not GOOD health care

Pulmonary fibrosis might be a thing.
Best of luck regardless if it is or isn't OP.

Try cbd

Lymphatic duct block. Right out of the Merck manual that doctors use.

Wow! I'm specializing in pulmonology right now and study case we had was a 40 year old male, healthy, no previous sickness in respiratory tract for many years besides common cold, symptoms been dyspnoea and painful expelling of white stringy phlegms with a consistency between cottage cheese and ksantanon gum. It was related to the death and lack of replenishment of the immunoglobulin due to much calcium deficits. Immediately demand for to referral to a specialist pulmonologist if you haven't already been to one!

Do they have any theorys as of this second?

I live in Canada and the doctors are mostly fucking useless.

ER wait times are ridiculous. Had my two year old in with a high fever (103F) and it took 16 hours to be seen.

And if you need to go to the ER when it's flu season or when people have colds, forget about it, you can be waiting for 24+ hour.

That's..that's shit, dude, sorry to hear. I hope your kiddo was okay.

(OP)
Also! Where are you from? If you live in central or eastern europe I am sure I can attain name to a good pulminologist through my university professors if your condition is growing wearful and dangerous.

>fake news
This is a Russian spreading misinformation. Ignore this goat fucking nigger.

sup doc, medic here. Sounds interesting and i feel like i encountered something like that in the filed several years ago and had no idea what the fuck i was looking at. Whats the name of that condition so i can look further into it?

This is bullshit.

He's not a doctor.

That sounds about right.. Been saying it ranges from salty milk to cottage cheese, right down to gelatinous webs..

At the moment, they believe it's pneumonia, but that they've never seen this white shit before.. They are definitely not confident in their diagnosis

You might need to do the tube sucking surgery to get it out if there's too much liquid in there

I am sorry, I do not recall precisely right now but I am fairly certain it was pulmonary fibros, as it is the only thing that makes sense to me now! It was an early introduction case for familiarity with clinical perspective in the study of odd symptoms that do not show immediate signs of classifiable sickness. I am writing SMS to my professor in the field, he will respond promptly I am sure. Although I cannot be sure this is our diagnosis whatsoever, it is a start and may be helpful to bring up to physicians so they can rule on it with basic CT viewings.

If you've got fluid on the lungs you need surgery. That almost killed my father before the cancer took him. They'll put a tube coming from your lung to the outside of your body and send a nurse daily or bi daily to drain the fluid with a bag, eventually it will stop coming back.
Don't start smoking again either, user. It will kill you. I fought tooth and nail to keep the lung cancer from taking my father, I kept him maybe 2 years longer than the doctors figured, but it wasn't enough because it was too far gone. Please don't kill yourself with a vice.

Is correct if it's fluid on the lungs related to lung cancer but only then, cannabidiol oil no thc, in capsules. Eat nutritious, and as little sugar as possible.

Everything I've read about pulminary fibrosis tells me i'm gonna be dead within 3-5 years. I hope to fuck this isn't that.

>Pulmonary fibrosis
maybe this.
I use mucinex for everything anymore.
Get the DM 12 hour.

I'm Canadian too and can confirm some smaller hospital ER's are indeed like this so I can understand a little bitterness about it, I've spent ludicrous wait times with family members who were in a very bad way.

Me to user

Before someone calls me a samefag or a Russian shill I'm talking about specifically my local hospital in my town and have had great experiences at bigger hospitals in the city

better import more of the third world then, that will help not overwhelm your infrastructure
oh wait

you people are idiots.

Still majority whiter than wherever you're from unless you're in the ukraine, afrocuck

While yes the damage is irreversible sadly, all is not lost if supportive care is provided and habits are changed. If you believe your symptoms to check with the disease, notify your physician of this immediately and ask for a pulmonologist, do not delay. I hope for your healthy life. Here is the document the study case was in essence, with modification, for those curious. You may want to refer a doctor to look at it and compare symptoms, though I do not believe it is of great help. Thorax: published as 10.1136/thx.2007.077396 on 28 July 2008.

It almost looks like dead tissue if i had to guess.

There are particles you can breathe in that get stuck and cant be removed and you would never think it was anything other than dust

THIS is a russian nigger slave sitting somewhere in a troll factory trying to sow discord among different groups on the internet.

Fascinating. Though the patient presented evolving symptoms over the course of almost a decade. I'm presenting with very similar symptoms over the course of 15 days.

Bend and hit your chest in hope that whatever got in gets outside.
Staying upside down and regularly hit your chest with your arm (5 Newton) could help. All the medicine could have side effects. I don't know any other way to clean your lungs. Repeat every day for a year or longer. Don't hit too much

When you google pulmonary fibrosis and white phlegm you get a boatload of articles regarding to this, both people describing their own situations and medical articles. I'm terribly sorry OP but it seems like you got it.

then it's not pf
see

I utterly misread your first post, I apologize! I thought you had written two years for any reason. This however does not change much, as fibrosis can come onset quickly or slowly.

I urge you to seek private care, if it is in any way possible. I am currently conversing with my professor and he is set on pulmonary fibrosis as well.

You cannot rule out the diagnosis of pulmonary fibrosis due to lack of clubbing of the digits. Hepatocytes are not guaranteed to present themselves.

What on earth could have caused me to acquire PF?

Adding a pic of the looser 'milk' spit

It is almost impossible to say why you were caused with it with only clinical diagnostics, but there are many known causes. Have you worked in industrial settings containing raw material such as asbest or other similar harmful particulates? Have you worked around avians? Do you suffer from heartburn? However my most pressing question would be, how much have you smoked in your life and how long? Many smokers die due to this horrible condition due to simple deterioration, similar to the one from severe smoke inhalation, obviously. I am going to assume you do not have immunoaggratory diseases as you have not mentioned them, nor any chronic or severe diseases in the past affecting your torso.

Try a second and maybe third opinion, better to be safe than sorry op.

you cant diagnose ipf based on sputum

Which is why I recommend immediate CT viewings! It is the first step to determining anything in this scenario, I say.

Nope, never worked around hazardous anythings.. Pack a day smoker for 8 years.. I do have heartburn, recently started treating it with Ranitidine tablets

That is a long time and a lot of damage, as I am sure you know. I will not tell you either can be the cause as I cannot know for sure, but they have significantly increased your chances to be caused with this. I'm afraid I can't give further advice as I must leave, but I hope you follow my advice and seek immediate care. I hope for your best health and continued healthy life, friend!

I have Alzheimer's, ask me anything..

Thanks man nostrovia

How old are you?

need more info

r u a man or a cook

OP, both the cast structures and the milky stuff are almost certainly some sort of fungal infection. Did doctors not say anything about fungi and/or antifungals?

Try making someone else drink the "milk", see if they get infected too!

Excuse me,,do i know you?

this

Nope, they simply look at the shit in disgust, get me xrays, make me sit in a cold room, give me antibiotic and prednisone prescriptions, instruct me to use my salbutamol as needed, and to check in if things don't improve

Go towards the light

>Ranitidine
>H2 receptor antagonist (blocker)
>The histamine receptor H2 – – is an integral membrane protein –– regulates gastrointestinal motility and intestinal secretion and is thought to be involved in regulating cell growth and differentiation

How about you stop eating that shit

If it is a fungal infection then antibiotics and prednisone will make it worse.

lol. the secret. "You're telling me the stuff that hasn't worked before, doc"

No... you just are too lazy to commit to and anti inflammatory lifestyle and a good sleep schedule

Works wonders for my heartburn though

Why do you have heartburn in the first place? Overweight, shit diet, no exercise?

When’s the last time youve had your fudge packed

Switch to a ppi like lansoprazole

Yes

Girlfriend pegged me last month, why?

I thank you all for helping me brainstorm possible ailments that I've might have contracted. I'll be sure to consult a doctor about getting referred to a pulmonologist asap. Thanks again, and God bless

Hope you get better soon OP

maybe you should swallow the cum instead of inhaling it

The fuck is YOUR problem?

OP let's see about this.

>Plastic bronchitis (PB) is a disorder in which branching casts of the airways are expectorated.
>PB is not a single disease with a defined mechanism that explains the cast formation in all conditions.

- Your symptoms began after 8 years of pack-a-day smoking, i.e. constant exposure to minute amounts of common allergenic pathogens such as Aspergillus
- Your symptoms began right as you started eating a histamine H2 antagonist, i.e. started taking a drug that also mildly decreases allergic response
- Your symptoms are not resolving with the use of antibiotics (not a bacterium)
- Your symptoms are not resolving with the use of prednisolone (not autoimmune)
- No blood in casts or sputum (very likely not cancer, bronchiectasis or TB)
- No weight loss, no fatigue, no fever, no night sweats (again, very likely not TB)
- Already diagnosed with asthma and controlled with salbutamol as needed; PB not resolved

What we're left with:

>amyloidosis (any diarrhea, weight loss, feeling tired, enlargement of the tongue, bleeding, numbness, feeling faint with standing, swelling of the legs, or enlargement of the spleen?)
>lymphangiectasia (diarrhea?)
>lymphangiomatosis (diarrhea, nausea, or gastrointestinal pain?)
>membranous colitis (aka C.difficile infection; extreme diarrhea, nausea, and gastrointestinal pain?)

and

>constrictive pericarditis
>congenital heart disease
>allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis
>bronchocentric granulomatosis (very likely caused by allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis)

Wild card:

Ranitidine is used in the treatment of some lymphomas. Lymphomas can cause the lymphatic system to do weird things, such as push proteins in the wrong direction, i.e. into your lungs, creating those casts. You might have something like primary gastric lymphoma which is now being treated by the ranitidine, which is breaking up tumors which your lymphatic system is now killing and excreting into your lungs for you to cough up (pun intended).

>reptilian-like skin remnants that slowly dissolve when in contact with air outside body
Congrats OP, your inner reptilian alien is molting.

You're a fucking retard adding advice here.... Go to a fucking doctor if they don't know go to to another one... That is probably the lining of your esophagus. This looks very serious at for 26 I would think throat cancer or kidney failure. It could be many things but the only fucking person that's going to tell you what you need to hear is a doctor..

Lymphatic cancer or cancer of the esophagus.

Literally just came back from ER before posting this.. Going back in 2 days for a followup.. Doctors here are morons though..

>if you need to go to the ER when it's flu season or when people have colds, forget about it, you can be waiting for 24+ hour.
Seriously? I live in Mexico. Even in this shit hole country if you go to ER with a flu they tell you to fuck off and allow real emergencies to be attended (unless you have obvious symptoms of influenza, of course).

It could be a form of pneumonia . Go to a real doctor even if you have to travel. Don't ignore it that looks very bad for your age. I used too smoke tobacco out of a bong for years and never had anything like this. Could be lung cancer or throat cancer but no once can really tell besides a doctor.

Go to a different doctor . Even if you have to travel a bit

Eat manuka honey. Will save your life. Could be a form of MRSA.

Stop swallowing your chewing gums nigger

tl;dr OP is basically a cat throwing up hair balls

Ewww wtf dude, get some cough medicine or something.

Could be thrush/candida. I've had a similar thing on roof of my mouth. Gargled with salt water ,took acidophilus probiotics, gargled apple cider vinegar and also took antibiotics. Could be from too much sugar. Candida feeds of sugar and you don't have enough good bacteria (probiotics) in your body. I've had it in my dick (balantis). Also has to do with your body's pH. Eat alot of raw garlic. Garlic is an antifungal . Never seen it in lungs but I'm sure could develop there. Drink some apple cider vinegar missed with warm water. Will correct your body's pH .good luck

Also Mucinex is good expectorant will help get it out of your body.

fuuuck op.

unless you've been injured lately, you have parasites and/or cancer

It took 16 hours because your kid only had a fucking fever. Use the ER for actual emergencies and you'll get in right away.

Drinking acidic drinks doesn't change your blood pH

Most of the advice ITT is bunk, as expected
