3. I don't believe in letting anyone fight my battles for me unless it's unreasonable. Talking to a person is not unreasonable. Having to use violence or force is a reasonable reason to call the cops and should be used as last resort. Less hassle for all parties involved and allows the cops to do their actual job instead of settling petty squabbles.
