It's no trick or anything like that. It's how many different cameras name folders by default and how they would show up if you threw the entire folder structure up on FTP. People used to do that before Facebook. They also used to not think about which photos they were putting up and just load everything, awful nudes included, and then forget about it. Many of these FTP sites are still up and this is just a search term that will efficiently locate these
