it only works if you are balding in the back of the head it doesn’t stop normal male pattern baldness, call a Doc and ask for a proscription for finasteride, but be warned this medication can have some shitty side effects.

don't think i'm willing to try it, It blocks 5 alpha reductase which blocks DHT, DHT is converted into neurosteroids, DHT also plays a role in penis development, so not only are you messing with your dick, you're messing with your brain function. it's also hypothesized that it kills 5ar production so you're left with permanent side effects.

I've been on Rogaine for about 4 months now.
I can say it makes a difference in terms of thickness. I am balding in the front and I keep my head shaved. Now you can definitely see less scalp than before.
I didn't even get a prescription. Just went on Amazon and bought a 6 month supply of the Costco brand foam (Kirkland Minoxidil) which comes down to about 15 bucks a month. I'd say it's at least worth a try. Just be prepared to put that shit on your head twice a day.

Same guy here. Also look into using a Dermaroller alongside the Rogaine. It's like a little roller of tiny needles that you roll on your head and it's supposed to stimulate regrowth.

people are referring to Finasteride (propecia) when they talk about prescription, its a drug that blocks 5AR production which produces DHT among other things. Hopefully it stays working for you, did it effect your eyebrows? i've been thinking of trying it but i've heard it can make your eyebrows bushy and thicj and i like mine how they are now, they're just right.

It didn't affect my eyebrows as far as I can tell. Just try not to sweat right after putting on the foam on your head. If it drips down to your eyebrows, then I could see that happening.
Worst case scenario, put your ego aside and get someone to fix your eyebrows. There are permanent solutions for hair removal of all kinds.
