- Genre: sci-fi/fantasy are great. No slice of life, I want a, actual story to be told.
- Duration: no more than 2 seasons (1 is better)
- No open ending, I want the story to be finished
- No harem cliche around MC(ie Danmachi).
- If possible, MC actually works hard to get better, and not suddenly a pro because of a cheap reason
- If possible, not too old anime (+15 years), the art style is important to me

Im kinda a novice and have really only seen mostly mainstream stuff. These are my favs though in no particular order. Samurai Champloo, all of Ghost in the Shell, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Full Metal Panic, Dragon Ball and DBZ, most of Studio Ghibli's stuff, FLCL. Ive seen other stuff but this what has stuck out to me. Any suggestions based on that? Bored af and rewatching Babylon 5 need something new.
