I don’t know if I can forgive them as I can’t help but think I was born just to serve them. They’ve constantly reminded me since I was a child that they expect me to take care of them when their old and to buy them whatever they want as if I’m their personal bank. I know some of the struggles they faced raising me. I am thankful for the attempted effort they had in raising me. They did what they could user with what little the had. Time will tell if I grow to forgive them or not. But for now the grudges I hold will keep me down.

He’s actually incredible intelligent. He’s studying abroad right now in Europe. The reason my parents said that is because they believe my brother will be too successful and busy to take care of them. They don’t think I’ll reach the success my brother is reaching for and therefore expect little of me. I will take as best care as I can for them when they’re old but I can’t give them the attention and care they need. Especially if one day I actually have a family. Then I’ll be preoccupied with my own kids, partner, my own home, job, etc. I can’t give them everything they need.

My father is a flight attendant and often wasn't able at home, which caused my mother to be forced to take care of me and later my sister for a very long time without being able to work. Then oce I got older my mother and father seperated and it got even more tough. SInce I never really had both parents present and she had trouble finding work, I always blamed troubles I had in school and in my early child hood on here, because al I wanted was to be a normal child, like everyone else. That feeling carried me until my adult years. However once I had a dream where I could see my life, but from the perspective from my mother and it really made me respect her more and even angry at myself that I hated her for so long.

How you react to them is ultimately your choice, but having grudges is ultimatly just bad for you and your family. Peace

I know user. Grudges are bad. It’s a habit I picked up from my dad who holds grudges as well. He stopped talking to his mom for five years because she was criticizing him for not sending her and his dad any money when his other siblings do.
