Neither. Civil is kind of a meme but pays well and you don't do shit. Wear a white hat, stare at dirt and make six figures.

No, not hands-on learning. EE gets theoretical pretty quick. It requires the most math - complex numbers, matrices, Laplace and Fourier transforms. It's harder (fluid dynamics aside) and generally pays better.

If you don't like doing much math, skip EE.

There's no need to minor in mathematics. Minors don't mean anything. Instead, use the free space in your curriculum to do things that will broaden your intellect and world view. Stats is a good one, teaches you how full of shit they are. Or some sort of literature class that's well outside your comfort zone.

Yeah, hit the internships hard. Even if they're unpaid, go for the best, most prestigious one you can find.

Dont listen to retard engineers [read EE] op. Electrical engineering is for when you're just barely smarter than a civil engineer. In my 5 years of engineering with two 20k+ employee companies the electrical engineers are ALWAYS the first to shit the bed the second they get uncomfortable.

Of the hundreds of engineers i've worked with, i've only worked with 2 electrical engineers that were respectable in their discipline. There is obviously a serious fault in their school.

you can move around industries when you go pro. But if you specialize then it's harder to even get in the game. You go aeronotics (wtf is that? aerospace you mean?) and you're pidgeonholed, you got comp sci... wait wtf are you doing? This shit isnt even remotely related. fuck off

I did computer science and i also love math. Especially stats which really helps with AI. But thats my passion. I really want to one day develop something that will wipe out humanity starting with jews and niggers.
