See that's what I was thinking cause I've heard it's super hard to clone. I've been doing some research but I know that does not compare to hands on. Would you reccomend hydro or soil

add a small amount of organic nutrient and wait for the root system to fill the pot with roots then put them in a larger pot and add more organic food and stick em outside and pray

I know that weed plants are a kind of animal but they hardly ever move. Why is that? Are they afraid, and if they are, how do I not scare them?

cloning is the simplest thing in the word. buy or make an aero cloner. if you want to build one you can find directions online how to build one using a 5g bucket for cheap. start with soil and organic nutrients since they're harder to fuck up.

go to your local hydro store or go on amazon and get two products called rainbow mix grow and rainbow mic bloom made by a company called earth juice. they're cheep and will cover all your fertilizer needs for veg and flower. you may want to pick up something like CaMg+ by general organics to make sure you have enough calcium and magnesium since these plants demand a lot of both.

What kind of soil do you use. Is like home compost for the garden good to grow in. Or add to a certain soil

start with a proffesional potting soil made by a company who speciali zed in growing marijuana. the easiest to find will likely be foxfarm ocean forest. i personally like aurora formula 707. DO NOT BUY SOIL AT HOME DEPOT. notice i put that all in caps? that's because that is an absolute do not do. hit up your local hydro store.

See that's my problem I live in a not so friendly state and I'd have to drive like 4 hrs to the nearest hydro store. So I plan on slowly getting the things I can get online.

How can I tell when to harvest when I have no access to any kind of magnifying glass or microscope, just my telephones zoom ( I can't order one online). Can I tell with the naked eye or judging but the percentage of orange pistils?

there's nothing you can't order online anymore. if all you have is a home depot then see if they have then at least get the highest quality potting soil they have and amend it with your compost and add some perlite. equipment can be shipped directly to your door.

pretty hard to do with the naked eye. time is probably the best guess you're going to have but you have to know what kind of genetics you're growing.

See I wanna get what I can so I would only have to make one trip for things like dirt and seeds.

You don't understand, there's a reason I'm asking for advice on how to do without gear. First off I'm not in the US so you can say goodbye to things like Walmart and home depot. Second off I had to move to a tiny town where there's literally jack shit for miles on end. Mail coverage for like amazon and even federal mail is spotty at best. Thats the whole reason im growing the weed myself, I cant get it anywhere near here.

Yeah unfortunately I live in Canada so the outdoor growing season isn't very long. Had to start indoors before bringing them outside.

very spindly and weak plants caused by his lighting being placed way too far away from his plants. they were only getting a small fraction of the light they were supposed to be getting. his type of lights should have been a maximum of 4 inches off the top of his canopy and instead he had hit more like 4 feet above his canopy. he grossly overestimated how strong his grow lights were. they should look more like mine

no. stop. pistil hair has nothing to do with judging ripeness. we can play the odds and assume your plants are an indica/sativa hybrid with an 8 week flower time because that's the vast majority of genetics that people grow. pretty rare to see anyone growing pure sativas or pure indicas. so pull at 8 weeks for a best guess.

best place for seeds is just to order them online from a place like attitude seed bank and opt for discrete shipping during checkout. they'll show up at your door in about two weeks.

They're not outside. If we're counting from when they first revealed their sex, then they're in the fourth week of flowering.

looking at your pistils and trichs i'd say that's a good guess. different plants show sex at different times and without more pics it's hard to know. if you can post a more full plant pic there might be more signs i can pick up on.

it really is. it's a federal crime to open your mail. the only people that can touch it is customs when it first enters the country and that's very unlikely. in the unlikely event that customs opens your package and find the seeds they will simply confiscate t hem and insert a letter into your package saying contraband was seized but they can't do anything to you. i've order seeds like 50 times.

what like price? back then expensive as shit but today you could buy a light like that for about $200 each. i wouldn't buy those lights anymore though. modern 315w CMH grow lights are much more efficient.

depends on the genetics. i've seen plants that showed sex at only two weeks old. most will take longer and some won't show until you initiate flower.
