I like high quality audio. I'm wanting a decent pair just for casual listening, with comfort and above average sound quality. Modest budget. Maybe not more than $50. Even that much seems like a lot.
I had a good pair of Beyerdyanmic DT 990s for home use when I want really good audio quality. Like I mentioned earlier, I'm just looking for a decent pair of headhpones when I'm at the gym, on a bike ride, maybe on break at work, etc.
A good pair of ear buds that won't shit out on me that sound decent enough and aren't super expensive.

even listening to music in a small environment will be detrimental to your hearing.
keep the volume low, train your ear to listen to the most subtle noise.

I've been a bose man most my life, but the one sennheiser product I have is the best headphones I've had. Durable and great sound. Just wish they didnt make my ears hot, but all headphones do that for me and the earbuds dont work for me. I'd like to try some stereo sennheiser when i build my next system.

Its overpriced for sure, but its not bad. One of those paying for the name faggy things, but all my bose stuff from 25 years ago is still working well. I do think i got suckered in as a teenager by the reputation. it was better than my sony walkman foam headphones so they got me hooked. Sony XB50(XB50-AP). Great quality, build quality is insane and they're relatively inexpensive, £15-25 and last 2 years or so. Current pair have lasted me 2 years and have no issues while first pair lasted one.
