the cosmos will inevitably end as we learn more and more to let it go and be our true self, and it's this theme of INEVITABLY that makes an appearance in the matrix and many other films, but is usually shown as the villain due to our current bias

Carrying Chinese food plastic bag and the handle rips. I carry from bottom rest of the way to the car. When I arrive I go to grab the bag by the knot where the two handles are tied and the torn handle is fixed. Know for a fact that it tore because some of the food came out in the bag when the handle ripped which was still in the bag out of the container

it's essentially the same thing, the mind decides to believe it is a certain thing within the picture, and then puts itself into that vantage point and experiences the life of that image, so yes animals come from the same mind/life force, yet being in different bodies gives them a different experience, even being human was something that needed to be learned, we are just so used to it at a certain point that it feels natural

I also think animals tend to have more of a group/hive mind experientially

There's a hell of a lot of plant life out there, 100s/1000s of years old but very alive. Surely the majority of "experience" would be meaningless scurrying around as bugs, small mammals or sat there stationary in the form of giant redwoods or even fungus.

I think plants / animals tend to have more of a spiritual / mindful experience and are less body centric, for example many have seen nature spirits etc. Things are not always how they appear to the human eye. Even looking at things scientifically that is fairly obvious. The human experience is extremely limited in what we can see or hear.

I can't really say for sure about the plants/animals to a T, because I currently am experiencing a human body, and do not have access to memory of anything else, so I'm going off everything else to make an intelligent guess, but I am pretty sure that is close to what it actually is like

I can think of a better way to explain it. Instead of "choosing to forget" right then and there it was more of a subtle process where we became afraid of reality and therefore put up blocks to the awareness of it

right now you believe you are a body, which has a beginning and end, since you believe thats what you truly are, it wouldnt make sense for you to remember anything before its birth, therefore your belief in being a body, a life, with a story and a beginning and end that pushes everything else that doesn't fit that belief out of awareness

memory itself is also learned, in reality there is only pure being (what we would call living in the now) so memory too, is an illusion, all though when your current body 'dies' you will be able to 'see' a lot more, and eventually everything
