It's nice that you think that, in spite of him literally losing support from both within and without government. I'm glad you can find comfort in your delusion.
How do the Dems defeat him? Is he unstoppable?
Democrat presidents typically add less to the debt than their republican counterparts. Trump's budget by every estimate in and out if government will add more than Obama's did (except his own estimate of a surplus in 10 years which literally every person who works in finance disagrees with, because he for some reason used a wholly unrealistic, hyper optimistic assumption of growth, and that's still after his presidency, his presidency is going to add more to the debt than Obama's did).
Remembering that the left felt justified in shitting all over the right's new candidate because:
1) The right shit all over Obama in 2008, and cried about him daily for 8 years, having to come up with elaborate excuses for their overt racism by saying 'no I don't hate him because he's brown, it's just that he's an illegitimate president, show me the birth certificate' as if they didn't do fucking background checks before swearing him in. His legitimacy would never have been questioned of he was a white guy born in Hawaii with a common name like Smith, and we all know it. Nobody would have accused a white guy named Smith who had been going to a Christian church all his life of being a Muslim. The racism was so thinly veiled it was almost funny.
2) Trump acts pants on head retarded, insults at whim, and has a long, well documented history of racism and sexism, supported by court evidence (agents of the court actually conclusively found evidence of systematic, policy racism in his housing organisation, so, y'know, inb4 prove he's racist). He's very easy to shit on, and unlike the right the left didn't need to give their hate excuses, because their hate is of his personal qualities and not his race.
3) As for policy he made a lot of promises. Some small and exactly what you'd expect of every republican. And on these he delivered because it's what always happens. Some he made BIG and LOUD and repeated them over and over. And on these he has failed, delayed, or backpedaled. Most presidents do this. Make big promises about issues they know will actually swing voters and then do nothing with them. Nothing new but it's still a reason the left shits on him, same as it's a reason the right shit on Obama.
No. Wage is based on the minimum a company is allowed to pay you adjusted for the number of people able to do the job. Since there are a lot of people coming in at the bottom the companies just pay the minimum legal amount and would happily pay less if they could because the failing of unchecked capitalism is that people are considered a product just like everything else which allows companies to exploit them.
Normally if a product has too much stock with not enough demand you sell off the excess at a loss and invest the smaller capital in a growth product.
People are in greater supply than demand. But a person CANNOT sell themselves at a loss, or they will die, and cannot invest their capital if they cannot sell but for selling at less than the cost of their upkeep, because they have none. Life is a fundamental right. Paying your employees as little as you like is not.
This is why living wage for full time work should be considered a constitutional necessity.
