Alright guys, i’m not a tree hugging Greenpeace hipster vegan cuck but i really do care about the environment and the survival of the species and i just can’t help but have an autistic level of hate towards fucking arrogant pieces of shit polluting and wasting the environment’s natural ressources
That being said, i rent a room with other retards that we all don’t know each other
That being said, i live in Canada and we don’t have a water tax(yet, close call a few years ago but it’s just a matter of time now) Except, we do have water treating facilities and those aren’t free therefore pay from our taxes cause it goes with municipal services My roomates always turn on the sink at full blast and even leave the sink several times while it’s still running and most of the time, they only use it just to wash 2-4 pieces of dish Take hour long showers at full blast when it shouldn’t take you more than 10 minutes of non continual running water
I tried resonating calmly and rationally with them and i always get them acting arrogant to me as if they were entitled to waste the water and that shit really pisses me off
I also care cause cost of living is already expensive and i don’t wanna have to pay a fucking tax because of a bunch of retards wasting our water when 2/3 of the planet is water and out of this shitload amount of transluscent liquid that is the basis of life, 3 goddamn percent is drinkable that we have to process and clean in order for it to be usable/drinkable
So am i retarded to be giving speech or do you guys also care? I feel like people just don’t give a fuck Throwing their fucking bags of McDick’s, chips out of their car windows or on the ground when fucking trashcans are there just for this purpose alone
Why do people intentionally do this and act like there’s nothing wrong with it? It just make me boil so much inside that i’d literally kill anyone talking back with no plausible/rational argument to justify their fucking stupidity? I just told this fucking gook about it and talked back at me but couldn’t make out anything out of what he mumbled out cause the water was on full blast
Justin Bennett
Nah dude, I give a shit about the ecosystems that support us. Our societies are wasteful fuck, eat shit food and becomes unhealthy and angry, destroys more shit to cope with rage and poor health. I spend a lot of my time studying ecosystem cycles, and applying it through basic agricultural tests now, with plans of buying lots of land for practical eco farming intentions. Land can be used to generate food, topsoil, etc. Some care, dont worryyyy
Dominic Watson
Yeah but it just make me rage so hard cause i have been framed and have a shit ton of rumors going on in my back and a plethora of other bullshit ruining my reputation when i’m far from being like the average fucktard in this godforsaken society I fucking care about the environment and the wellbeing of others even tho i’m highly egocentric But that shit really rustle my jimmies seeing that the same fucktards ruining this planet are the ones most loved because of their blind conformity and stupidity
Humanity is fucking cancer and i needed to fucking rant a bit and see if I wasn’t the only one on here who seethes with rage about this general issue
Bentley Martin
Ecology is pretty sexy, how it all works as a repetitive machine fueling back into itself. Hell, we just uncovered 1 billionish year old land fungi, which significantly predates our oldest found land plant fossil finds. Mushrooms likely had a role in making soil arable to plants I would guess then, but that is mere postulation.
Gabriel Jones
Every day, my species makes me want to kill baaaddddd. I smoke too much to deal with, and plan for future eco projects. Did you, back around 2010 I think, some peeps dumped 3000 tons of iron sulfate into the ocean near Antarctic coast, 3 month long phytoplankton bloom. That shit blew my mind, that it was that easy to generate food biomass in the ocean
Daniel Howard
Yeah dude mycology is damn fucking interesting and apparently fungis are way more genetically closer to humans than they are to plants I admire Paul Stamet’s contribution in the field and anything he dedicated his life to but unfortunately, he’s generally unknown by most people
Also, psychedelic shrooms are so much amazing
Aiden Russell
I’m assuming English isn’t your first language, but agreed on the point that people should conserve water as much as possible.
Landon Cruz
What if I think global warming might do some good?
William Brown
That’s fucking impressive Yeah i do hope that we’re going to find some kind of reversal process to counter the mass stupidity done on the daily Otherwise we’re slowly dooming ourselves
It’s funny because everytime i see someone throwing shit on the ground, i yell at them >WOULD YOU LIKE IT IF I JUST STARTED DUMPING TRASH IN YOUR HOUSE AND TAKE SHIT EVERYWHERE DESPITE HAVING A TOILET AND FUNCTIONAL PLUMBING? They just look at me like there’s something wrong with me
Fucking bunch of hypocrites
Blake Rogers
I'm pleased to know others love the psylocibin. I've been doing some crazy mushroom composts, with general decomposer fungi species, and it turns out crop plants go crazy for mycillia rich organic matter. I'm hoping to do something insane one day, like reforest a desert or at least section off a floodplain in the desert for algae farming. Algae and phytoplankton can chemically clean our oceans, but we still gotta manually remove plastic mass. I'm frankly more scared shitless of the chemical runoffs of the modern day. Super chemically TIME stable stuff, like antibiotics, biocides, etc.
Christopher Russell
It isn’t but i’m on mobile, sometimes don’t proof read my posts and forget to add words or whatever Other than that, my english is pretty good Yeah, in the sense of purging our fucking metaphorical cancer species It’s like people forget that we live on a fucking living complex organism that needs to be looked after
Adrian Sanders
Our species has a premise avoiding habit that plays to serve ego. It is some monkey business. I try to garden and learn. I gotta get on your interactive level with people.
Angel Cook
I’m pretty sure i saw/read a couple of years ago(not sure afain if it was Paul Stamets tho) that there is a breed/strain of shrooms that can eat/get rid of waste Don’t remember clearly if it was radioactive waste or something but said shroom feeds on toxic wastes But then again, it’s unknown from the general public and alot of corporations could lose a bunch of money/profits out of this discovery I’ll try to find what i’m talking about, hold on
William Bailey
I'm trying to keep the get organized attitude and host some free public classes on things like, how to actually benefit soils around home and farm, in waterways, what fungi spores to put around certain trees and crops, what plants need to be together, forest health, composting. I still gotta get it organized though. Hell, China is refreshing the gobi desert right now. Only way to get things done, is if we get together, make a plan, find the fucking hippiesssss.
There is a documented radiotrophic (radiation fixing feeder) mushroom living in chernobyl mess. It fucking terrifies me.
Nicholas Davis
That’s really honorable of you to do so and i highly back you behind this Unfortunately I don’t have anything to help me make some major contributions other than running my mouth(which honestly doesn’t amount to much other than wasted saliva and time) Fuck yeah man!
Hunter Ward
The amount of water people use is a drop in the bucket compared to how much Coca-Cola, nestle, and McDonald's use
Gabriel Morgan
Humans are barely capable of not blowing the world up and you want them to think decades into the future and ensure their own survival?
Jason Rivera
Damn! That’s some next level shit All this talk aside, i’m really on the fence about doing a trade in horticulture I really am not sure if i could eventually find a job and make some major contributions with knowledge about plants even tho it’s highly related to fungis being part of the environment Starting this thread really made me finally jump on this decision but i’m not sure yet
Ryder Richardson
We can do it, user. We just need a gardening/sex cult to enslave the masses. How do we make fucking, covered in bugs, which are also most likely fucking too, sexy again? Maybe ecoterrorism is the way to go. We breed shit tons of spores and seeds that lead to mass biomass generation against the will of the rest of the species? Sounds equally fun.
Owen Allen
They contribute on a large scale But i think that millions of people doing their parts beside big corps is pretty much the same thing if not a lil worse since a mass population out numbers corporations in terms of accumulated waste Fair enough but atleast i’m trying Still better than not doing anything and have my blood pressure go through the roof
Adam Perry
Yeah let’s call this movement the Terra Revolution All this talk aside, I would’ve never expected to have this much positive feedback given that Yea Forums is the asshole of the internet Really stoked to see that there is still hope
Christopher Howard
Trades in horticulture are crazy underfunded, it saddens me. But there is so much to learn, if one already has land, spices, mushrooms, and fresh veggies sell to local restaurants and local markets. I'm hoping to get into it myself
Josiah Nguyen
Well that’s one of the main reasons i’m on the fence My reputation has highly been ruined in major parts because of my family so i really can’t get into anything that requires networking a branching out Unless i move at the other side of the country but my “certifications”(if i ever go thru with studying horticulture) wouldn’t be worth shit because of how things work here
Aiden Russell
Your opinion is your opinion. If you care about the earth then that's your thing. If someone else doesn't then don't try to force it on them. That's the only reason people hate you, vegans and tree huggers, not cause you don't eat meat and like nature, it's that you constantly have to force it on others.
Liam Martin
I worked in a greenhouse for two years that had insect infections repeatedly. Pesticides never worked long term and got everywhere. I chatted up my boss one day about jumping spiders, we got some, things went well for six months, then they ditched due to spider famine we think. But I've seen videos of people with absolutely fucked looking spider grow ups, RVs full of flies and spiders, but those growers always supply them at around the same cost as bottles of pesticides. I'm a spider bitch now, my house has spiders and I get to open my windows. I hate it when they stare at me while they eat, but oh well.
No it isn’t, people hated me before that and it has nothing to do with that People will constantly go and make lies about me to validate themselves to others and rally them against me by using a bunch of lies There is a HUGE difference between vegans and environmentalists I consider myself omnivore and i couldn’t care less about veganism because our biology evolved to prioritize animal sources of nutrients Environment issues are a by product(if not a side effect) of our modern consumerism and industrial way of life Try again
Kevin Walker
Building maintenance or working as a nurse aid cause my options are limited Otherwise manual labors in factory/warehouses seems to be the only viable options but the health risks are just not worth it in the long run
Dylan Brown
Yeah, I've been trying to be better with shit like this for the past few weeks living in my parent's house like a complete loser.
Luke Fisher
I'd go for high paying shit like nursing, then buy land if u still want to get into plant science, but that is also my plan, but it might sound terrible to u, so I dunno otherwiseeee.
Yeah but right now i’m not in a really good living condition regarding my reputation I won’t go into details because i tried to talk about it a couple of times on here and i always get called a schizo/mentally ill and that i’m making shit up Best course of action for me atm would be to fuck off somewhere and try to start life over but i’m starting to think about the possibilities that i could find to do a trade once i’m over there Sorry for this weird rant but i wish i could contribute to some major change but i have priorities that are more urgent
