Guys I‘m about to watch John Wick 2, what should I expect? Any recommendations for after that flick?

John Wick 3.
Also go out, buy a handgun with ammunition, and clear out the local ghetto
Alright action. I recently rewatched the Die Hard movies after many years. Wasn't bad.
I have really fond memories about these movies. My dad showed them to me when I was just about eleven years old
The theaters are closed, germanfag here
But I guess I‘ll go tomorrow or somewhen, the first few minutes have looked pretty decent so far
It's really no different than John wick 1
Bad things happen to Keanu Reeves, that way he can go on a killing spree. It's good, mindless fun
Also no handgun, because germanfag
"Alright?"
I can't think of another action film with comparable choreography, that wasn't full of asians
So basically the same plotline
Something along the lines of ‚don‘t wake up the Boogeyman‘ huh
I don‘t know, transporter was pretty decent
its good mindless fun, the worst thing about it is Ruby Rose and her stupid fucking face, but at least she plays a mute so you don't have to hear her cunty voice
Transporter's fight choreography was good, but it doesn't hold a candle to JW (especially the gunfights in #1)
Preeetty much
Without giving away any details: John wick goes to retire after the events of JW1, someone does something bad to him, now he's thinking he's back
That‘s true, but in all honesty when have western films really cared about choreographed fights before?
Meh
Well I‘ll see I guess
bourne series were bretty gud fights
Exactly. It's a new standard for action/fight choreography in Western cinema and I hope it sticks.
As long as you're not looking for a serious, nuanced plot, you'll like it (assuming you liked the first one)
I actually did, especially the fights were pretty interesting and so far the second movie looks pretty good, too. We‘ll see
They were pretty good, but they didn't use a lot of long takes.
That's really the difference between Asian and American action choreography. American movies usually have to use camera cuts to make up for a lack of choreography ability
He killed my brother with a poinsule. A fucking poinsule!!
Yeah, you'll like it. It's just more of the same
According to a friend who's seen the third one, theres more hand to hand and less gun-fu as the series progresses
Expect 1,5hours of John Wick killing ppl and 2min of dialogue
the fights in these movies remind me a lot of batman:arkham series of games
