Any medfags that can tell my why my back hurts EVERY fucking time I wake up? The doctor took these.

The bright light is from a window. The doc had to take the Xrays for "analysis" so I took three quick pictures.
Here's a tribute for you animals.
xrays don't show shit
you probably need an mri to find out
Is it me or do I detect a slight curve on the upper portion?
yeah spines aren't perfectly straight dude
did you never learn anatomy?
my dr referred me for xrays to justify my insurance covering an mri. mri is way more expensive so you have to do the song and dance. xray didnt show shit. mri clearly showed my herniated disc.
anyway that's my anecdote good luck
Did you also woke up with God awful pain every morning. It only hurts when I wake up. During the day I don't feel jack. Not even when I lift heavy things at work.
youre fine faggot. its all in your head. quit being a pussy.
Do you sleep weird? Like on your stomach? That might cause some pain, but nothing debilitating I wouldn't think.
Also, is it your whole back? Upper? Lower?
Spring matress?? Maybe improper head support? Maybe you sleep looking like an inverted pretsle? My point is it doesnt take a medical expert to figure out why you have back problems. I bet you dont even into sitting upright
You broke your back. It's spinal.
If you’re older than 25, welcome to the rest of your life. Stretch, eat correctly, invest in a comfortable bed... that’s about the most you can do. (I’m not a doctor)
Thanks all for the replies.
My wife says I do sleep kinda weird. But I mostly sleep on my sides, interchanging when it begins to hurt.
I have a spring mattress, and a feathered pillow but it's now mostly flat from use.
I am 29 years old and I eat normally, but the only exercise I do is at work.
Also, I sit kinda hunched but remember sometimes and correct my posture.
I agree. Right at about T-3 you see it start to cerve off to the right and that starts heading back at T-6 and returning to normal at T-9. I think OP might of had minor scoliosis as a kid and didn't know.
ive seen a couple chiropractor videos
Youre welcome, normaly i charge at least 10 bucks to help you troubleshoot your spine problems but ill just write this one off as a charity. Just keep in mind, you always wanna be sitting up right, sometimes doesnt cut it. Remember to get a better bed and pillow eventually too. Oh and strech twice a day minimum.
How does scoliosis work?
I've got no medical expertise but some common sense. If it hurt severely enough to get an xray, go get an MRI too. And don't go to chiropractors. Bunch of pseudo-science shit.
This should give a clearer view of what i'm talking about.
Your spine matches up, less pronounced, as thoracic scoliosis.
Oh yeah, I should also say I was a combat medic and one of my good friends was an x-ray tech so I killed a lot of time in his office.
>scoliosis
It starts when you're a kid and due to different reasons like one leg grew longer faster or just an abnormality causes your spine to start to grow crooked. This can be fixed in kids by having them wear a bulky chest and neck brace till they are done growing, thus keeping the spine growing properly into adulthood.
What causes it and how do you correct it?
Once more thanks. I'll change the pillows this week because these are just plain flat. Also that pillow between the legs thing some people say.
What about when you have it as an adult? How do you fix it?
Get a hammock, for real.
Don't buy into that proper posture bullshit, just don't sit at a desk for days. If you do it for work, then change jobs.
Curl up in a ball, get that spine to bend in all directions instead of forcing it to stay frozen in place like a 2×4.
I think you have lupus.
>pretsle

As for correcting it in adults, they don't. They treat the symptoms like chronic back pain and such with meds, physical therapy and chiropractic help. Sorry if that's disappointing to hear.

Hit the curved areas of the spine with a hammer until they even out. It's like a bone that set wrong, you have to break it, set it right, and let it heal in the right position.
That there’s some scoliosis
Absolutely don't do this. You're better off sleeping flat on the floor than a hammock. Hammocks are garbage for your back, just as bad as all the over priced "special" beds that cause more problems than help.
You are way late to the party.
It kinda is but that's life. Doc did prescribe some meds. I hope those work.
Sure thing, right after I'm done making crystals and making my metal spoon colorful.
I had one bed that was the softest, squishiest one they sold. Cost 2grand for a double. Slept like a baby, most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. But it wore out after about five years so I switched up to an extra firm mattress, and immediately had hip pain and back pain. Took months to break that bed in, and it's still not as good as the old one. I'll definitely be going back to soft as soon as I can. I'll spend the extra money.

first one to post it, son
Its AIDS.
You might want to talk to a chiropractor. They're actually pretty inexpensive and aside from doing alignments they can also tell you a lot of ways to avoid irritating it while you sleep and things like that. Best of luck to you user, hope you find a day to day that works for you and dont need to get the Cortisone shots for your back too often.
I crown you king of the retards. Take another look their mouth breather.
A proper hammock will have your spine as straight as a piece of rebar, without any pressure on your hip or shoulders.
Good ol american health care system. Gotta pay and wait.
>their
Go ahead, then. Show me who posted “That there’s some scoliosis” before me.
>being this retarded
I can schedule a next day doctor visit, and see a specialist in less than a week. Entirely covered by insurance. I'd get an MRI in less time than it would take someone in a nationalized healthcare system to even see their GP.
there is plenty of testimonials online from people who had severe back problems after sleeping, and it went away overnight after getting a hammock. are you so buttblasted that decades of medicine got nuked, thanks to this one weird trick, that you won't even let OP try a hammock, see if it works for him?

I did. How retarded are you? Do you lack the capability to look at the post
Unless you're 38 or older, shove that "son" shit up your ass, kid.
>stenosis of the spine
you a fucked up spine OP, just bad genetics
You work at dick's sporting goods, don't you. Having to treat stupid soldiers on deployment for back problems all the time because a combat hammock "is cool" is more than enough proof for me.
48, son, and not one of those posts said “ That there’s some scoliosis.” I guess that particular meme was before your time. Good luck in school tomorrow, kid.
48.
Maaaan, that's like, almost dead.
Sorry to hear that.
I'm 25 btw
>combat medic
Oooo, can you share stories about that time? Where have you been deployed?
Nice larp, grandpa. See you at your funeral

Well, will you still? Please?
I'm happy drinking right now and don't want to be angry/depressed drinking.
According to these, I'd say, you're gay.
OP here, thanks all for the advice... and outright ammusing laughs. I will try a new pillow, laying flat on my back on the floor, a ball, a hammock, and some stretching before and after bed. Good night all.
Good luck OP, Hope you find something that works.
you have Schmorl's nodes and lumbar disc degeneration
how old are you
and
Hey OP, not a medic but I've dealt with severe back pain before. We need more info. Do you have sciatica? Is it upper or lower back pain? If it's only when you sleep and awake, then is it chronic back pain, or are you just sore as fuck? You said you sleep on your side, put a thick pillow in between your knees to have your spine in alignment.
My old mattresses were spring, and they sunk in like fucking crazy. Get a purple mattress. I have a tulo but memory foam is fucking garbage no matter the price. anyways, stretch more, foam roll, crack your (upper) back on a round ledge to release pressure. that's how i deal with my back pain (which is now discomfort)
also, i have weak arches so my legs caved in if i was wearing flat shoes or shoes with no arch support. first my knees hurt like a bitch, and eventually my back started to get fucked. i put in some plantar facsillis inserts and the pain is gone in both my knees and back.
It's clear that a dog bit your spine
Med fag here, with your xrays and your symptoms you most likely have Ankylosing Spondylitis. A condition characterizing by severe morning stiffness in the back that improves throughout the day with use. Usually hits males in their 20's.
