Crime rates for blacks are still higher when adjusted for poverty. So much in fact that a poor white neighborhood has lower crime rates than a rich black one.

Black people commit more crime on average. This doesn't mean black people are genetically predisposed to crime or any of that other bullshit, it means that they are disproportionately disadvantaged vs other groups. A lot of it absolutely does have to do with prejudice.
