I had a tick hop in my ear a few weeks back. Fill your ear with water while laying on your side. Either get someone to try to fish it out, or just see if it just comes out. Good luck, OP
You have an eardrum that will backstop the water and prevent the bug from going farther, leaving only one way out. Unless you think a giant fucking bug that can rip through your eardrum is in there (and you would be fucking sure of it), this is the correct procedure.
