Rush is great but Foo Fighters and RHCP fucking suck

Nah M8, you right. Those bands suck ass

One of those three are in the rock and roll hall of fame the other two are ass

Beatles

what makes rush great? i respect the musicianship and understand they're very concise and well rehearsed, but after awhile everything sounds the same and geddy's vocals are grating at best. they'd be 8/10 if they were instrumental but I cant look past the vocals or fan base

The Offspring

Metallica

Their non-singles don't get enough love

couldn't agree more.
all three suck giant gorilla testicles.
i thought the rush singer was a girl until i was in high school.

Nirvana is way overrated. Smashing Pumpkins were miles ahead

SP are gud but ur just lying to yourself by thinking they're better
Let's be honest.

tool, alice and chains, pantera

After Cliffs death Metallica started to decline. As his influence faded so did the band. First 3 albums are legendary but you can then easily see the quality becoming more and more sparse.

So you're right and wrong.

>I cant look past the vocals or fan base
This.
Their fans are comparable to Tool fans, and he should be embarrassed to sing like that. Interestingly enough, both bands feature obnoxious overrated turds on the mic as well.

Take That. Literally what the actual fuck! Gary Barlow is some sort of songwriting genuis! Is he fuck. Sick of seeing their gurning faces on TV. That Suzuki advert! Fuck off you bunch of sad cunts.

>let's be honest
Not the guy, but if you want "honesty" on something that's almost entirely subjective, then base your assessment on skill levels.
D'arcy Wretzky was a meh-tier bassist, but so was Krist Novocelic, so I'd call that a tie. Jimmy Chamberlain & Dave Grohl were both mediocre drummers, so call that a tie, too.
Now you're left comparing James Iha & Billy Corgan to Kurt Cobain. Both Corgan and Cobain wrote some "great" (subjective) lyrics, but Billy went the distance and produced more. Both Corgan and Iha would effortlessly destroy Cobain on the guitar. Wanna talk "let's be honest"? Kurt wasn't fit to work as a guitar tech for Corgan or Iha, so he doesn't even deserve the comparison I'm generously affording him here for the sake of this argument.
I'll listen to Melon Collie or Siamese Dream and never miss the few shit shingle records Captain Buckshot cut.

Mariah Carey. Ok not a band but she just does freeform warbling on every song. Screeches for ages. Don't get her appeal.

Foo fighters should've never happened, would've never happened if Courtney hadn't arranged for Kurt to be murdered.

>implying kill 'em all isn't complete shit
>buying the cliff meme
>believing the myth that there were ever "quality" metallica records

n-word. you are the metal head equivalent of a flat earther.

>if Courtney hadn't arranged for Kurt to be murdered.
>implying it's murder if the victim is not a human being. kurt was a junkie turd. flush.mp3

Fuck off. Kill em All raised the bar for metal. Ride, continued the movement. Master of Puppets is a classic. Just like Celtic Frost got grief for changing the direction of metal by arseholes, Metallica have started to get it too. It's trendy to knock what you don't understand. Go fuck a monkey.

Absolute truth. Both bands would be enjoyable if they weren't fronted (in rush's case) by a dingleberry and (in tool's case) a brooding man child. both fan bases just parrot off info they heard on the internet about how intricate the time signature changes are without truly understanding what it means. if I ever see Maynard in public I'm kicking him right square in his fucking yuppie wine-growing balls.

examples?

JOHN LEGEND WAS LENNONDARY

agree with foo fighters. dave grohl should have died with cobain

motherfucking tool gotdamn
