Old /b had same threads but more containment of simultaneous repeats. I can live with the cuck, trap, social media girl, porn , BBC, and Andy log threads. Its when there's 2 of these on each page that shits up /b. If they legitimately removed/combined repeat category threads. OC might come back if there are only 4 pages of on-repeated topics rather than 10 of the same..

Filtering just keeps you from having to see threads. It does nothing towards preventing the occasional good thread from getting bumped off by garbage. People say make good threads but what is the point if it never has a chance to get established because trolls and spam keep the crap at the front pages and log posts shove it off the end

it'll take a while, but you'll eventually build up a long list of alternate words they use to get round the filters.
This is not a cure-all, it justs makes it easier to find threads that you might be interested in, you still have to contribute to those threads and keep them bumped
