I won’t argue that. They definitely changed the world design drastically from Oblivion to Skyrim. Skyrim started showing signs of the familiar dull color palate that’s plaguing Bethesda games now.

My issue with fallout 4 isn’t even the world design though. Honestly they did a good job of adding tons of detail and density to that game.

My issue is the retarded fucking side quests and main story. Then they made the gunplay 10x better but made the guns fucking garbage. There is literally no reason to use anything but the Combat Rifle. Unless you’re role playing or some shit.

Also, speaking of role playing. They fucked that up too. They removed the highly customizable skill point system and just made perks the main thing.

Idk If they think we’re dumb apes or what but it’s just a simplified mess.

in normal leagues the trading aspect is pretty big, you decide if that's still single player for you

Now I get there are some games out there that require a physics degree to play. And they are too complex for their own good. But we shouldn’t be making things dumbed down. It’s okay to make the consumer use their fucking head.

Portal is a highly successful game and it requires problem solving. Souls games are hard as fuck and have made millions. Hell, even Mario Odyssey is harder than the bullshit Bethesda is putting out these days.

World Of Warcraft is falling into the same pit. That’s why they are releasing classic servers.

Dauntless is a free monster slaying game developed by epic games. it's free to play on all platforms, PS4, XBOX one, PC, you name it. Really interesting game that has alot of people's attention at the moment. Awesome hack and slash with some pretty nerve-racking fights
