If I didnt testify, they were going to charge me with murder (because everybody in the group is considered part of the crime regardless of who pulled the trigger) and the prosecution would seek 20 years for me.
I even told in my testimony that my friend did it in self defense and they tried to take the deal away from me after because they said "oh it wasnt enough to persuade the jury"
