Indeed, trips. I hardly ever suffer! 95% of the time I'm just trying to kill boredom. The other 5% is eating and peeing and showering and stuff. There's a difference between suffering and inconvenience, and I experience the latter most often.

See, the thing about cars is, they can stop. Even on a high way if they see a body in the middle of the road. As much as it pains me, I doubt I'd get run over. Now, if you said take a nap on railroad tracks, that's a different story! A train wouldn't be able to stop and I'd certainly die.
