I think black people are too dependent on the gov’t, so aside from reparations being unlikely, they would also be unhelpful. If we were ever going to get them, the best time would’ve been after the civil war like it was planned to have happened, but now that that time has passed it would be much too complicated to be able to sort that kind of thing out. Like, what qualifies a neighborhood to get "investments"? And what does that look like? New real estate? Re-paved roads?
