If someone is checking in on you, and tor is configured properly, then while they won;t be able to see what you're viewing/doing, they will know you're using tor, and pretty much have their suspiscions confirmed.

In the UK they have a specific charge they invented for anyone just viewing CP - they call it creating illegal material. It hinges on the fact that when you view CP in a normal browser, or save it somewhere, you're 'creating' a copy of the material.

That way, to the uneducated reading the news report on your arrest, it sounds to them like it was you making the CP in the first place
