Hey b/ros. So my GF and I got into a car accident a while ago and we’re expecting the settlement money for it very soon and we’re stuck with two choices between cars. We want a camero but we hear that mustangs are low key better. I know there’s a board for cars n shit like that but we all know that the most traffic is on b/. I don’t care much for horsepower or anything technical specifications, I was driving a shitty 2012 Nissan Versa before this so any of the two would be a major upgrade. I just want to know which would be more worth it in the long run. So tell me bros. Camaro or Mustang.

Ok I’m glad you said that but unfortunately that’s a bit out of our price range. It’s harder to find challengers with good mileage for a good price. But if we had the money we would’ve gone with the challenger for sureeee

Yea but we’re not getting it for speed. We’re getting it because we think MUSCLE CARS LOOK COOL. So we want a muscle car. We know it goes fast but like I said we got in a fucking car accident a little while ago so we’re not trying to be speed fucking racer. I just wanna know, what has better gas mileage, which is more reliable, which is more comfortable, etc. Idgaf about performance or whatever. If I’m getting a mustang I’ll most likely get a normal one as opposed to GT. Unless I find out that GT will help me save more gas or some jew shit like that.

Idk they both look like shyt. Specially if you’re not going for performance. The newer mustangs 18-19’ look better imo than the camaro’s.

OP, if you have enough money go for a Honda Accord. Slightly used models can have V6s with same horsepower as mustang. Hondas have amazing suspension for superb handling plus Japanese reliability. Too many recalls in American cars. The back seat in a Camaro and mustang is unusable.

GM Mechanic here. The V6 Camaro tends to have problems with piston rings, meaning it leaks oil. I have seen some Camaros with over 100k miles on them and no major problems, but not many. I guess the point here is if you’re gonna get a Camaro get the V8.
