1. Where you gonna put it?

2. How long do you have to install it?

3. How often can you get to it to download/retrieve video/pictures?

I bought one of the generic phone charger spycams from amazon. It worked pretty well, annoying part was having to edit together clips to form one long clip, but totally worth it.

The ones that plug in are great, but might get unplugged if someone wants to use an electric razor or hair dryer. Smoke detectors and exit signs are fantastic in commercial environments.

Whenever you can use something that isn't dependent upon batteries and has a second purpose. Like air purifiers. If you can afford it go with something that has a cord so that can sit on a counter pointed directly at what you want to see.
