I've been making a chicken dip with parmesan, bbq sauce, sriracha, and mayo. Well actually it was just for sandwiches but I've realized it's basically dip. I want to share it as a dip with friends and family but I feel like I need one or two other solids for a proper dip. I'm thinking onions, olives, or banana peppers, what does Yea Forums think is a good match for a dip like this?
I've been making a chicken dip with parmesan, bbq sauce, sriracha, and mayo...
Ah just remembered I'm on the fence on onions cause I know a lot of people hate them.
Olives sound good. Or diced tomatos
Woho, look at Mr. fancy pants flexing his higher tier cooking on Yea Forums
green peppers. you need some motherfucking contrast in that shit.
Add smoked fish, everyone loves a smoked fish dip
Okay black olives and green peps, is sounding nice then, not a huge fan of tomatoes
Bruh I get my chicken from a can just like every other man. and then I mix in sauces without reading the labels.( like really wtf is the sriracha with the orange cap? I just pour it in kek)
Onions and garlic my man. Roasted red peppers would be nice too
Hell no, I hate fish. Not ruining my beautiful dip for the whims of some fish eaters.
I'd try this for family since I'm Italian I'm sure they'd love that. Probably gonna run the first test on friends though.
Side note what's some unique shit that would be good to dip? Obviously celery, carrots, chips, etc.
Ah, American cuisine
God bless your shithole & your gluttony and lack of class
lol thanks man. We get it from years of cultural history.
The "obviously" dippers you mentioned are the best. Most raw veg are good, also crackers and bread sticks. There are so many good bread stick recipes too. Poppy seeds, cheeses, chillis, herbs, all make good bread sticks.
Also if you're gonna add garlic to your dip splash it in EVOO and roast a whole head for like an hour!
Get some naan, toast it crispy, cut it up
Alright, I should have figured they were obvious for a reason. Likely not going to try the bread stick thing anytime soon, but I'll definitely roast a garlic head like that.
>naan
Oh shit that stuff! yeah crispy that would be pretty good.
This sounds like it needs cream cheese
Really? I'm just not a fan of the stuff. I know people like it but I couldn't see it working. Maybe I'm wrong though cause the people I talk to put that stuff with everything.
I'm not huge on it either, especially when it's plain, but after I used it in a buffalo chicken dip recipe I discovered that it's perfect for creamy dips.
Also I'm normally not a fan, but canned chicken works great for chicken based dips. Find it by the tuna.
some glockamole always works.
Well I'll give it a shot some day, but I'm gonna keep a friend nearby to down it in case I can't lol. As for canned chicken, it's what I've been using. I like it though, and often have it plain.
I like my glocks to be eaten whole.
Okay so this went pretty well and was very efficient. We tackled our problems one at a time and we resolved them quickly.
So as we depart from the topic and wait for the thread to die, I'd like to thank you all for your help and advise.
But if you're still reading, I'd like to ask when this snack should be eaten. During a movie? Before or after dinner? Game night snack?
>canned chicken
Excuse me?????
