The movie is a little confusing if your not sure what The Wall album represents. I watched it with my GF and had to explain the key parts of it too her and the little details that she just thought was like a drug trip from hell lol I mean its DEF worth a watching its right up there with my top 3 fav movies of all time I mean it also makes more sense judging on what The Wall and the meaning of the album means too you I mean lets be honest some things in the album and movie can be interpreted differently like my dad see's a lot of the things he goes through as drug use and eventual schizophrenia as Syd went through and they meant too show that in the movie. However I also see it as he was always just different from the beginning coddled by his mother and so he was taught not too trust and not to bond with people and to make " The Wall" to protect himself sort of driving him further and further from reality and also humanity and making relationships and bonds almost impossible too keep hence the " The prisioner was caught red handed showing feelins, showing feelings of an almost human nature. This will not do" its all about him struggling with people and who he really was and being able too show who he really was which kinda leads into a lot of other albums like " the final cut"
