Gunna be real with you, BFA was a pretty big disappointment imo. It was fun for a little bit, till I realized that there just wasn't much fun to be had without all my friends, none of which wanted anything to do with the game anymore. And playing with only one other person and doing no damage sucked... a lot.

I played BfA, it was... Not as fun as I'd hoped. Which is a shame, because when I played Legion it was more fun than I expected it to be. I can see where BfA was going, but missteps happened I guess.
I have a bunch of games in my backlog I still need to play, to be honest. And I'm slowly working my way through another playthrough of Rewrite(read through? Idk the term for VNs). I haven't played minecraft in quite a while, I have a friend that develops content for it though.

That is the killer in any expac. That is what made WoD and some of MoP hard for me.
In MoP people stormed out in masses due to Kung Fu Pandas... even if they was part of Warcraft III before that movie and the content. All those people leaving killed my raiding guild even if the xpac was fun. WoD hurt waaay more because it felt like a: Log into your garrison, see noone, send out daily missions, log onto your next character thing.
I see potential in BFA, but motivation comes from groups! I hope to get a group of friends all willing to quest and have fun with me if I start back up! Need to put the Massive Mutiplayer part back in MMO!

Ohhh. Hm. I may like you a bit. I'm kind of a gaming nerd when not on Youtube or watching something anime related. One fun thing I've been doing is using a Link to the Past randomizer found online. Kinda makes the game a lot more open world then it even started! Sometimes you gotta start a dungeon and find you gotta explore the world and figure out what you actually can do or where you did not check before!

MoP still had most all of my friends playing till the end of it, and we all kinda fell off. Me and another friend decided to give WoD a try at launch, and he stuck with it, but the level synching areas just meant I had to deal with rogues and DHs that were 5+ levels above me in literally every zone, at all times, and even being a fan of world PvP and ganking to an extent, I kinda just found it unplayable. So I quit. Didn't come back till BfA, and admittedly got to max level.... then quit again. Odds are, I'll go to Classic, have fun, possibly even stick with it. But for now, Tera is my home and FF14 is my pimp pad. But Tera was the only game to rip me away from WoW without having a group, and despite their questionable business and content schedule, it's managed to drag me back in after a 4 year hiatus.
And holy fuck that ended up being more of a wall than I thought.... and I could've kept going.

Back early Afterbirth Plus there was news of Ed working with the makers of Antibirth to create Repentance. It's not out yet but it's coming.
Alllso I felt the need to show my progress in my latest LLTP Randomizer. At the point I am the randomized enemies left about every dungeon I can access with the 3 headed dragon and I am on hard mode. That means no faeries. I have not found the 1/2 magic buff so I can't miss as much with my magic, and my master sword is not the strongest weapon to kill it with. I can use the hammer but that takes getting about in his hitbox taking damage to hit him. Each of my attempts takes me digging up sooo many rubies just to fill up my three pots with healing./ mana potions. Ehe.. I gotta get good unless somewhere I overlooked has half magic, the tempered sword, or red armor.

Biggest hint: If your rom has an exe extention that's not what you want, that one is likely a virus. You need the smc file of it. But yeah, google is your friend in finding listings of clean files for randomizers. Link to the Past is a loved classic, and randomizing it adds even more of an interesting challenge.

Sorry! I got ahead of myself. Yes, you need to play the classic Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past first before any randomizer. The randomizer does take having information or else you may be stuck forever not knowing you needed to bomb a certain wall to get in a place where chests contain the item that was randomized into said cave.

Mmhm! Silver was my favorite long ago too. Sure, part of me REALLY loved the designs of the classic Pokemon, but I liked Silver as well. I think what really got me was being able to visit the past region too!

I do know the makers of Pokemon put a little heart into their games. They even expressed what they think about throwing away pokemon with the wrong personality/ ect to get the "perfect" Pokemon. They basically said: Each Pokemon is like your cat or dog. No, they won't be perfect. But their yours. People who get rid of their pet for not being the perfect breed is just cruel. The differences are intended to make each experience in playing the game feel different, harder, easier, and maybe even a bit more exciting when you get lucky enough that a shiny just happens without you manipulating the game to get it.

I mean, Satoshi Tajiri created Pokémon based on the bug catching hobby he had as a child, it's not exactly unexpected that they'd encourage you to treat Pokémon like actual animals. Yeah. People get mad at changes like that, but at the end of the day I can't see anything that brings it in line with the original vision as bad. I'm glad I never got into Pokémon in that kind of serious way, I value the childish sense of wonder and being able to pick Pokémon just because I like them.
It's unfortunate too because valkyrie is gonna become my main. But what can you do? I'll just wait for when it inevitably gets unlocked for elins and race change.

That is just people are. When we once spent a long time grinding for one thing and we can now get it easier it makes people upset. Warcraft is the same.
I for one welcome the change. You get the same result but won't need to put almost a hundred hours in to hatch one pokemon with the perfect traits. This allows people to get into competitive battling faster if you have a great strategy even if you don't have time to spend hours grinding each day.
