Does cbd oil actually do anything, does anyone have experience using it? Obviously I don't mean a high, but does it really help with the issues people say it does? Can't tell if it's just a legal snake oil with the thc

Yeah, its definitely not a cure-all but it does help with anxiety and insomnia, it does for me at least. Also, CBD oil is dogshit, get CBD pills or edibles to avoid puking after taking a few drops.

Cbd from hemp is not real it’s placebo bullshit. It must have the thc as they are coefficients

It does stuff but it doesnt have a strong effect on your mental state. Most of what it does is subtle and I'm not really sure it's very effective without combining it with THC. Helps with a lot of pain, anxiety, discomfort type shit. It also makes you a little sleepy/relaxed but this too is subtle and nothing like the high from weed.

In short minor medical applications, yes.. getting high, no. It's kinda expensive for what it does but whatev.

no

It's actually a good pain reliever. If you have a headache or any type of small ache, CBD products can help with it. As far as everything else goes I can't say.

It works well combined with thc

You going to be a millenitard your whole life, aren't you?

>Be oncology pharmacist
>work in cancer center
>have to put up with constant CBD bullshit
>literally helps 1/10 people
>have to constantly tell people it wont cure their cancer
>Based on recent approval of CBD for rare seizure disorder, sale of CBD (as a "dietary supplement") is literally not legal per the FDA, but they dont care enough to make a stink
>just wish that people would stop marketing their snake oil product to my patients and wasting their time
>it just gets worse everyday
>begin to resent stoners for trying to make something happen that has no evidence
>data does support it may be somewhat help when combined with THC for pain
>Feel bad everyday for telling my patients their CBD is bs

Dang that sucks. And that's what i meant i guess, i just wanted a non medication why to take the edge off mental health issues and is also legal unlike weed, where i live at least

Anti cancer/inflammatory. Helps some.

"non-medication"
>implying...

Just get good sleep, eat well, make meaningful relationships, and try exercising

People are constantly trying to solve their problems with pills, life is seldom that easy

go fuck yourself

ive used it to try and fall asleep when i was at a friends house for a weekend and it gave me one of the best sleeps of my life. Woke up feeling a little weird but not much else

i like it. might go get some oils at some point

Did an ssri for most of 2018, been off it since around last november. Trust me i been through this rodeo before and know how it effects me, the meds helped a lot and enabled me to learn coping skills. Some days you just feel it creeping back

It doesn't bend that way

Also if you genuinely think this then you don't understand that mental health disorders are a disease and some people have no choice in whether or not they have depression or anxiety. You have a valid idea, but don't discredit medication when it can save lives

I got knocked the fuck out a few times with a vape. It may not help with everything, but it can help some people, like myself chill out and go to sleep.

the capsule pill things are fucking incredible, i've struggled with insomnia since i was like 7 or 8 (25 now) and no medication my doctor has given me ever worked. i tried CBD and was out like a light, i've been using it almost daily for the last 6 months or so now and without sounding like some faggot hippie stoner it literally has changed my life. i know it won't work the same for everyone and i don't know what it's like for pain relief but it relaxes the shit out of your muscles so yeah

Agreed medication helps lots of people, and prevents lots of suffering and suicide. But the most efficacious therapies are non-pharmacologic (cognitive behavioral therapy) with or without medication. The pharmacologic therapies (SSRIs, SNRIs, bupropion) are no meant in all cases to be chronic used.

Plus many SSRIs nerf your ability to cum, so that sucks

This. My wife takes it for these issues. Works like a charm! Just don't tell the FDA unless you want to be disappeared...

Google Terpsolate and stfu

I'm definitely using that from now on.

Not enough data on cancer, but epilepsy has been researched extensively. To say that there is no scientific medical benefit is simply not true. In 1980, Dr. Mechoulam ran a study which showed cannabidiol could be a key factor in treating epilepsy. Continued research also shows a statistically significant difference in regards to anxiety symptoms. The chemical composition has been known since the 40’s with many restrictions being placed to prevent proper research. As someone working in cancer treatment, or at least in healthcare generally, I would hope you see the value in the potential for less invasive treatments than those currently being utilized. Chemo therapy sucks. Radiation therapy has fried children from the inside out. If there is any amount of evidence supporting cancer reduction with alternative means, then it can be refined and utilized. It’s too early to tell with that, but to simply say it is “snake oil” completely ignores known medical benefits.

DUDE the cumming problem was insane.

But yeah i feel you. Therapy was ok

I've never used cbd oil but I smoked cbd hemp once. It's basically just like smoking normal weed but it doesn't get you high, just relaxed.

What brand?

you know, when putting under my tounge, i felt not much of anything. made some joint pain go away. the weedy smell was nice.

put it in a hot bowl of oats and milk and felt more effects. but overall...meh. strong shit too, 1000mg from reputable brand.

next i tried vaping hemp flower, with no thc, but about 15% cbd. about a gram was 6 bucks. kind of a ripoff i thought for about 150mg...but holy shit, i felt it much much more.
