When was the last time you tried adopting an animal? Its almost the opposite, I'm trying to adopt a cat, not a kid. SJWs run those places like Gestapo. Farmers Craigslist cats all the time, better off going that route.

A lot of animal rescue places do. Some even do home visits before they will leave an animal with you. A friend of my was actually turned down by a cat rescue place because he had 2 pet ferrets. Of course he just went to another place and they ok'd him.

Only at private shelters, mostly in liberal cities/states. Municipal shelters are overwhelmed and will just give those animals away to anyone
