there is: multiple Scientists came to the conclusion that it doesn't matter which biological sex you have, you will act the way you were raised. A biological male will only become a male if raised how the specific culture thinks males have to be.

Not necessary considering this is something that sounds inherently fishy. I would talk to the opponents of the idea and see if they have any merit. Plus, I would personally read the research that concludes that such basis is valid, I wouldn't accept anything that wasn't proven by actual research on a sizable group of people.

A degree is a piece of paper. Period. You assume that a person having it will have a certain degree of knowledge but that may simply not be true. During my own course of studies, I've seen some really fucking stupid people get a degree.

I know how peer-review works. The thing is that not all proposed ideas need to be peer-reviewed to be accepted, nor doesn't it leaves the problem of overwhelming bias in certain fields such as gender study.

For lots of trans people, hormones are enough to alleviate dysphoria and they don't get any surgeries.

That's because they aren't trans, it's a fad among teens and young adults. The ones who have the mental illness never end up curing "their dysphoria" with hormones alone or surgeries and end up killing themselves or fall into addiction.
