Yea Forumsrod, I have a serious question for you guys.
I know a lot of you guys do drugs and still work a 40hour work week, and I wanna know how the fuck you guys do it.
I seriously don’t think there’s anything wrong with getting high in ur own time, especially if you’re going to work or like not harming people to get ur drugs.
How do you guys manage to work and still do drugs? Like, is it really not that hard to do drugs on the weekends and still be able to work on Monday?
You just only do drugs when you don’t have to work? If you couldn’t figure that out on your own you probably shouldn’t be doing them at all.

I have some shitty nerve and spine problems, and drugs helped some with working. Unfortunetly i've never found a drug that stops the nerve pain. Opiates make me not care and pot can sorta put me to sleep, but working a normal job consistently has been extremely difficult. The best method I found was switching between drugs every week or so. Never getting a huge tolerance or addiction to any particular drug. This kept me working for many more years, but eventually wasn't enough. I'd take stuff everynight, not just weekends. Weekends were the easy part, didn't have to get up and do shit. Motivating myself to get up and go to work (and get to sleep the night before) was the hard part.

i do drugs like the druggest drugs

Like, people abuse opiates or meth and yet they still manage to work everyday and lead somewhat normal daily lives until they go home and get high, and that blows my fucking mind how they can do that?
Yeah I get that, but how do you do them onlynon the weekends and not accidentally do them on the weekdays when you get a tolerance/need them more?
Was it hard for you to take them on the nights and still like, get up and go to work the next day? You sound like you actually needed them though, so I mean, couldn’t you just do them and if you got drug tested at work show you have a script for them? Or did you do opiates and shit that you didn’t have a script for?
Bentley Fisher
What do you mean “how do you work *and* do drugs”?? I can only work BECAUSE of the drugs.
I suffer from the worst headache imaginable and I would’ve killed myself had it not been for Morphine, that drug is the only thing that gets me out of bed and through the day, and the moment it wears off and the pain comes seeping back in, I’m fucked.
It never ever goes away on its own so I have to force it away with opiates. It’s liberating being able to operate daily without being weighed down by crippling pain. And with any drug, as long as you don’t take too much and get absolutely fuck-faced you’ll be fine.
no one does opiates and meth and lives a successful life. alcohol, barbituates, amphetamines, occasional psychedelics, occasional mdma, and weed mostly. any other drugs don't involve a life with a suit and tie

Oh, i was way past caring if they had random drug tests. Its interesting how quickly my goals in life became only how to be in as little pain as possible. If they made me take a random test I'd have shown my scripts, but if they said too bad, I would say too bad and fuck off. Trying to work a day job with severe chronic pain is pretty much impossible, at least for me. My options were take no drugs and get no sleep and suck at work the next day or take drugs and hope to sleep and then be groggy and suck less at work the next day. I did make the transition from enjoying drugs to get high to only enjoying drugs if I could get some rest and pain relief. My only goal now is to not be in the worst pain.

Amphetamines are basically meth, but I mean I guess adderall/vyvanse isn’t really as devastating, but alcohol is pretty awful, idk what barbiturates really are.
There’s a lot of people at my workplace that use opiates like oxy and hydros daily, some use dilaudid and they still function normally, it blows my fucking mind.
Jeremiah Thomas
How do you make sure you don’t take too much though? I mean, sometimes the pain has to be so like unbearable that you just end up taking too much, and then you’ll eventually need more and more daily until you feel right won’t you? Do you just not get high from it anymore? Like, do you just feel normal?
Adam Nelson
That’s a good thing though, taking drugs to actually get rid of a problem is a lot different than taking it to just get high and have a good time. How do you function though like, do the drugs just take away your pain but not get you high anymore? Or did you just learn how to act normal while you were high?
Owen Turner
In the past I'd drink or smoke or whatever to have fun. As time progressed that became irrelevant. Being high didnt matter unless I could get some sleep. I'd be high and reduce pain or high and still in pain. I think being high and the pain still there is what made me not care about using drugs to get high anymore. It became solely about the physical pain and its associated insomnia.

It’s VERY easy to just keep downing pills every 5 minutes until the pain goes away, but the moment I realised that was happening I requested that I’m allowed one weekly collection of meds instead of two months worth at a time. At no point was it ever an addiction thing, it’s just that some days the prescribed dose simply isn’t enough to dull the pain to any meaningful level - it was as useless as taking aspirin after crushing your hand in a vice. But taking more often didn’t help so it was a waste of tablets.
But as long as you’re disciplined then you never need to start elevating your dose so like many opiate addicts do because if you’re taking it for pain management and not addiction, you’re taking it because you want to, not because of a compulsion of having to.
As long as the doses are spaced out regularly they will always work. It’s when you take too many that you build tolerance. You have to allow one dose to wear off before taking the next one and it’s good to have “pill free days” where if you can help it, at least once a week switch out strong opiates for weaker ones like Nurofen Plus (ibuprofen and codeine, the combination of which is sold in the UK over the counter).
Are you considering taking drugs OP?
Jacob Adams
Ahh that makes sense, I really appreciate you helping talk to me about this. I hope you start to feel better soon dude, it sounds like you really deserve to not be in pain anymore dude(dont kill urself). I just hope you get some medicine or something that magically works for you dude.
John Stewart
Dude you have more discipline than I have ever seen in people around me, maybe I just hangout with losers.
And I hate to say this, but yeah I do plan on trying some later on, because I’ve had a few experiences at my dads in a safe environment, but I really don’t want them to ruin my life like they did my dads. I hope I have the discipline like you did to where I can take them on weekends where I can’t end up ruining my job/life by wasting it away.
I’m just worried with all the extra money I get, I’ll blow it on retarded anounts of drugs, currently I only have limited money so I budget really good. Maybe I’ll just enjoy working so much I won’t like, need or want to do drugs to fill in my free time like I do now.
Joseph Gomez
I do the same strategy of not taking pills daily. I take them when its bad, that way I am not building a tolerance daily and running into withdrawal problems when I need more before the next scripts is filled. Been on ~the same dosage of opiates for years and while I'd prefer a bit more, its low enough to keep me from enjoying the high only, and rather enjoy the lack of pain. Unfortunelty faggot government said everyone needs to take less pills because homo addicts overdose trying to fix. Thanks fags, good job fucking all the people that need this shit because of some retards that want to get high from time to time. Now they are reducing my script so to the point where it works half a month at best now. gods I wish they could find a nerve pain relief drug that want opiate based. gabapentin is garbage for me, so i have no choice.
Easton Sullivan
Thanks, i hope it gets better too. Modern medicine improves pretty quickly, but I haven't seen anything for me in a decade. I dont have tit disease or kid cancer so nobody really cares to fund research. Only advice I'd give is to enjoy life while you can, wish i did.
Nathaniel Campbell
It's exactly the same way you manage to work a 40 hr week and are still a chronic masturbator. You know, like the way that you duck into the men's room at work 15 times a day to rub one out. It's the same with the druggies. If you're truly committed, you make the time.
Cameron Diaz
I'm prescribed super strong opiates and and Xanax by my Dr..I'm 26 and on disability though. I couldn't function a job on these pills
