It's more nuanced than that. Statistically, the odds of getting attacked here, particularly if you have situational awareness, are exceptionally low. We don't have the kind of violent nigger infestation you do, and you can spot chugs up to no good a mile off. You have to balance that likelihood against the likelihood of getting made and receiving a criminal conviction. If you live in a decent area, and generally don't patronize high crime regions, you're probably better off not carrying, or at least carrying with deep concealment (which is hard because subcompacts are illegal here without cuck barrels, and it's hard to find importers that will oblige, hence the Makarov being about as good as it gets).

The most you can carry legally that is also practical is "dog spray" and a knife. That's a decent combination, all things considered. Not nearly as good as a gun, but nothing to sneeze at either. Batons and swords are technically legal to carry too, but you'd be hard pressed to explain that one if stopped on the street.

I haven't had a problem with the triggers on them at all. The stock trigger was a bit spongey for my liking at first. I put the apex kit in minus the actual trigger. It's super crisp, and nice. That goes for both of my M&P's.
