I have a question. A while back, there was a wave off controversy that washed over the anime community. There were articles and reviews written about the series criticizing the content in the anime.
That content includes depictions of death, gore, and rape. However, from my own observations, the content is fairly tame by comparison to other things I have seen occur in even hentai.
Yea Forums Yea Forums, is there something I am missing? Did the producers of Goblin Slayer create more graphic scenes that were cut from the final release? Or, are these critics just too sensitive and developmentally stunted to even be able to handle *inferred* actions/situations?

OP again, I just ran through the first chapter and I honestly am not seeing much of a difference. It shows some breasts of fighter girl, but nothing too terrible. I stopped sifting through after Goblin Slayer appeared, knowing what happens next.

Remember the part in episode 2 when Goblin Slayer burns down the tree filled with goblins? You see essentially how the previous all-female team went down. There's a violent gangrape happening off screen and you can see a random gobbo chewing on a finger knuckle. You can still see the finger in the show.
It really isn't that much worse. More tits and the art style makes it look grimmer.

You could say that at least the rape scenes are not much relevant to the narrative and I belive more people would enjoy the anime if it didn't have those.
The difference between an anime with this sort of stuff in it and a hentai is that porn isn't for entertainment, you watch it to fulfill a weird fetish of yours.
That being said, I couldn't care less about the content in such and edgy anime such as that.

Its done in the style of the churned out fantasy Isekai "Im in a super generic MMORPG' style things where people are named after their classes and go on dungeon crawls and such but without the guy from another world part. The main difference is it plays out like a classic AD&D game with a rapey neckbeard DM that has a hard-on for realistic gritty combat and making even basic goblins dangerous. Hilarity also ensues from the titular character not being good at anything else but killing goblins for some nice mood whiplash
