Has anyone here ever used methamphetamine?
Whenever I ask non-users what it's like I get the same answer. "You'll end up addicted the first time and never stop."
Has anyone here ever used methamphetamine?
Yeah
Yeah^2
I had “speed” years ago that was mostly meth
Never sniffed them
Really loved the high and the peaks that smoking weed gives you
No withdrawal symptoms like fucking speed the day after
I never over did it but i love it way better than normal speed tbh
The conclusion I've come to is that not every meth user is the "typical tweaker" you see on YouTube. I've met plenty of people who don't stay awake for days, hold steady jobs, and don't look like Freddy Kruger.
Yes. It's addicting. Your mind goes into overdrive. You feel more creative. You feel like you're able to accomplish so much more. You stay awake for a long time and do all the things you enjoy doing. Then you crash, and it sucks. You feel like ass. Then you do it again, and things are better.
But every cycle that you go through you trash your brain just a little bit more. You throw your health away just a bit more. Eventually you need the drug to feel good anymore. Eventually you're just another used up bum druggie.
The light that burns twice as bright burns half as long. If you start down that road I hope you don't want to live past your late twenties. If you do then it won't be much of a life. I've seen beautiful people go down that road and look like total ass within a few years. Nobody wants to be around them because they suck as people and their world revolves around drugs or other degenerate behavior.
So it's not to say that meth isn't an amazing drug, or that you won't feel good while you're on it, because you will. It's that it comes at a cost.
If there are different types of stoners (worthless fat shits who live in their moms basement, actual function stoners, people that only smoke a few times a month) why can't there be different types of meth users?
Took Adderall a while ago. Not methamphetamine but dextroamohetamine and amphetamine. Prescribed to treat ADHD. Never felt addicted even after taking it daily for months. Didn't increase dosage and didn't crave it if I took a day or two off. Eventually just stopped and that was the end of that.
I've been using for about a year and usually stop after a few days of use. I've never felt a craving or anything.
I did it for 6 months at a trap house, didn't really have any problems getting off it, snorted it, smoked once but stopped didn't want to fuck my teeth up, it's only addicting if you keep doing it while you're already high, I had people offering me more an hour or so after I already did some, shit lasts like 6-12 hours depending on how much you do, you'll have a ton of energy to do anything you want but you won't feel the need to eat, you'll have to sorta force yourself to eat, bathe etc, but I only had one night where I was really wanting more, so I slept it off after being awake for a maximum of 3 days and was pretty fine the day after, you will feel like shit to a degree. Obviously.
Just my experience haven't touched it since and that was about 4 years ago.
If this is the case then why are there so many misconceptions about it. Who do you think perpetuates these misconceptions?
I've tried methyldiethymethamphetamine does that count?
MDMA is a very different drug
People that don't have self control to moderate or stop, a few people I know are still abusing, in and out of jail and one's actually on the run from US Marshall's lmao, just dumb fucks
Have never used it but used to sell it when I was younger, let me tell you it’s nothing like breaking bad, I was making pretty good money, like $50,000 AUD a year and I had a full time job but man the people I sold to were fucked, all addicted and would give absolutely anything for some ice, had girls offer me sex, had a deadbeat fucking father offer me a night with one of his underage kids as he had no money don’t fucking try it if that’s what you’re thinking it fucking ruins you
I've been using for a year and still hold a full time job. I've tweaked like once, and never suffered withdrawal or comedown symptoms.
It's great for a while. It quickly turns into you chasing a high for days straight. All you end up feeling is exhausted and talking out of your head. After three or four days you end up feeling like I imagine schizophrenics feel much of the time.
That's from smoking it. Smoking is just a slippery slope imo. It feels different than snorting it--more mellow and not painful--but you'll find yourself hitting that pipe over and over. You basically smoke to conserve shit. Once you start building a tolerance (which is fast) snorting starts to feel like a waste. So you're trying to conserve, but you really don't because you'll find it's hard to put the pipe down. Also you probably won't actually give up snorting since it has it's own effect. You'll just end up doing both at the same time.
My ex-gf shoots it. I've never done that, and it always tears me up inside to see her doing it. She calls it the Devil's drug, and I tend to agree. You won't get addicted the first time you try it. You may go months before it happens. It won't seem like a problem at all, until one day all of a sudden it will. And people just treat you like a scumbag if they know you do it. Its not that great of a high over the long run, and not worth it.
Yeah I guess so, it is possible, I actually also sold to a few people that had full time jobs and just used it to cope with stress, and long work hours as they said it helped keep them awake, I just listed some more extreme examples, I’d never try it myself though
Well, what I'm pulling from this Is that it's an evil drug, but used in moderation it's "Adderall level'
Theres also a strong contingent of people who strongly believe that other people shouldn't be allowed to do things that they disapprove of. These people are quite happy to perpetuate incorrect information about anything that falls in those labels.
I mean if I buy my own drugs with my own money and hurt nobody but myself, why cant I get twacked out
fuck meth, that shit is insidious
I'm not saying that it's a godsend, but if you're not a complete retard and use it in moderation, it's not as bad as most people think.
is this copypasta or oc cringe
I thought it was pretty good lol
dont think someone would understand unless theyve been through it first hand.
Because 90% of you meth heads out there don't and can't stop themselves from stealing anything in sight.
It's more of a habit forming if you take it at night you'll stay up all night and needed to get through the day take it responsibly or on day off the following day be careful you might get so fucked up you dont notice your being crazy safe drug practices b/ro peace old fag signing off
How many meth users have you met
Because meth is on a different scale addiction wise I think.
my experience with meth is that it lasts too long, is way too stimulating, and has a weird way of getting inside your head and overriding your better judgement, not to mention the cognitive and physical health effects associated with its use. crack cocaine and opioids I can handle but meth is too much for me. I'm super glad it's not common in my country. it's like dementia and euphoria and transcendence and need and boredom and relief and creativity and compulsion and endless thought all in one nasty little crystalline molecule.
Seemed pretty accurate for my experience and what I've seen of others. Nothing quite like needing full mouth dentures in your mid-20s or giving yourself a panic disorder because your body doesn't know how to regulate its serotonin anymore. I took Adderall for a year and quitting was easy and I wouldn't quite say I was getting as amazing as the post describes, though this guy is 100% that the crash sucks. It's also amazing for dieing because you just kinda forget you need to eat while you're on it. I've known actual meth users though and they say it's pretty similar, albeit more intense at the doses they did. One guy told me about crying in his bathroom for an hour with a panic attack when he tried to quit. Turned his life around last I knew. Another was a chick who stopped when she realized she was pregnant. Her kid had autism; don't know if it was related.
>methyldiethymethamphetamine
i think you mean 3,4-Methylenedioxymethamphetamine
It doesn't really last long at all when you do it for a while. That's how you get addicted. You keep trying to futilely maintain the high. Its not as short lived as coke, but the euphoria from it goes away and doing more and more only gives diminishing returns, though it will keep you awake and start fucking with your head. You end up caught in thought loops and don't think straight enough to put the shit down when you should.
What exactly you wanna know?
