Yo technically minded Yea Forumstards;

I'm designing a bedframe, and I want some sort of ratcheting or tightenable track to crank some 2x4s onto the corners to hold the fitted sheets in place. I cannot for the life of me think what the fuck they would be called. Any clues? In the mean time I'll sporadically dump random porn and shit that I've saved from here because that's all Yea Forums is nowadays.

all pictures obtained from Yea Forums so I have no fucking clue what source would be for most.

just some sort of gear track or something, but every time I search for that I get bullshit bicycle parts.

You know there are elastic clips to do just that right?

yeah, but those suck dick and don't work very well. I have a thick mattress (14" memory foam) and those clips are a half-measure at best.

If it was just me, I'd be fine, but my wife has the superpower of unmaking every bed within about 4 fucking seconds of falling asleep.

Also buy taller fitted sheets.
A piece of wood will cut into the sheet

Costco is a good place to start

Also you might be able to put straps on your sheet and runem uneed your mattress

even sanded/rounded off? Maybe I could just put a few rubber bumpers around it. It's just tension on each of the corners that I want, really.

I fucking love Costco, but I just don't know what I'm looking for tbh.

Fitted sheet for tall mattress

I've seen those before and I guess that could/would work. I just wanted something semi-modern looking. I'm going to make one of those hairpin bed frames. Typical pinterest shit.

A perm fix is to sew on buttons then use a strap at an angle. Can you see a button (8)?

my fitted sheet is already tall enough, i think, in that it fits, but it only stays on for a few days. I have to remake the bed from scratch every 2-3 days.

That's not a bad idea. I wanted the wooden bars coming in on the side to also hold the top sheets and comforter in place too though.

porn to make up for the pinterest photo earlier.

When it comes to fucking you want the mattress held in place. Also convenient to have the tie downs hidden. Do t forget the sex drawer and sex towel placement

That's the other reason I'm doing this. I'm building the bedframe partially because the height of our bed right now is too low to fuck her while standing on the side, and too high to fuck her while kneeling on the side.

a photo of the booty I'm doing this for.

So I have a very tightly fitted cal-king with only "tall" fitted sheets. They say "tall" on the label. I only have to pull a corner once a week. My old sheets, all the time. The pinch from the bed frame is enough to make it a bitch to make the bed but not enough to hold the fitted sheet in place. An expensive set had the button, was amazing. Eventually broke but was great while it lasted. It is the best fit

ours is a cal king too (being 6'4" has downsides). What about your top sheets and comforter? Our old bed frame broke from too much good times, so it's just box frame on the ground right now, but that sucks and looks ghetto.

last bump before it dies, I guess.

I have an Ethan Allen 4 poster (amazing) on a metal box spring from Amazon (also amazing, ~$130) sheets are all sets and work well though I like to hang my feet out.

I have thought about running 2 sets of twins from the side so I can be cooler than my GF but haven't tried. Comforter is down (hot!) In a silk dovette that acts as the summer blanket / douvette when I pull the comforter out.

I miss my rawhide

...

I've slept on double twins before and it's really easy for shit to fall in there. Imo it was more of a pain than it was worth it.

I meant just the sheets.

We're different temp people, I am a furnace she is a cooler

Vice versa. Her body temp goes up like 5 degrees when she sleeps. Our kids do the same thing. Luckily, I've got cold feet so I just toast them on her.

You can get clips like this designed for tarps and tie your sheets down without cutting grommets into them or building some complicated ratcheting 2x4 system.

If you guys can sew, sew some loops on each corner of the sheet, and then bungie cord the corners together
